Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Kinugawa Gyoen

This hotel is super convenient, just a 10-15 minute walk from Kinugawa-Onsen Station. Even a taxi ride is only 300 yen! The hotel itself is quite large, consisting of three main buildings, and offers a fantastic buffet breakfast and dinner. I loved having three different hot springs to choose from. Definitely great value for money, I'd stay here again!

The open-air bath only had two showers, which was inconvenient when it was crowded. For breakfast, there's a DIY rice bowl station where you can add your favorite toppings. They have tuna, other seafood, and even grated yam and other sticky ingredients, so you can easily have multiple bowls in the morning.

It's a 10-minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station, and you can book the hotel's shuttle bus for your return trip to the station the next day after check-out. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, and the hotel isn't far from the iconic Big Staircase. The dinner buffet was plentiful, making this a great value-for-money option in the area.

I think this hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's very cozy and comfortable to stay in. The food is buffet style with a wide variety of choices, and they keep refilling everything constantly, so you don't have to worry about missing out. The hot spring is also huge! I will definitely come back to stay and enjoy it again next time.

This hotel is truly wonderful, definitely worth staying at least once. The snow views are absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely come back again, and the breakfast was delicious. It'll be my top choice for my next trip to Japan!

No Wi-Fi in the room, and the air conditioning made a constant clacking noise all night, making it impossible to sleep. The restaurant served the exact same food every day; by the second day, I'd completely lost my appetite!
