The food was delicious. The deep-fried rainbow trout was especially good.

The hot springs were nice, reasonably priced, and the service was warm and friendly. Hygiene was a bit lacking, and the facilities were somewhat old and basic. It's just a short walk from the bus stop, and the sunrise was beautiful; it was quite crowded.

The location is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it for those who want to relax and unwind.

A very natural place to stay. The owners are kind and attentive. Especially when it's snowing, it's very beautiful. Not far from the lake But there's no restaurant. Prepare to buy stock. Or you can order dinner at the hotel. The onsen is a separate room for men and women. There is no outdoor pond.

Oku-Nikko has good spring quality There are two washing areas and a bath that can easily accommodate two people. It's not very spacious. There are no stalls. Still, it's a nice bath. All the food was delicious and the portions were just right.

Although it cannot be denied that it is old, the quality of the spring water was good. Unfortunately, we do not have an open-air bath. Also, the indoor bath was not at all spacious. We went by bus and it was very convenient as it was right in front of the bus terminal. It was convenient because it was right in the middle of spots such as Lake Yunoko, hot spring shrines, and hot springs. Some reviews said that the staff members yelled at us, but the only people we met were very friendly. Even though my husband and I were the only guests on the day of our stay, they were very kind to us. Do you want to go again? If you ask me, I would definitely like to go. In fact, my wife and I have promised to go again. Highly recommended for those who want to relax.

The cost performance is excellent. Although the facilities are old, they are well-cleaned and the staff are generally fine. I read some nasty reviews, but I don't think it was customer harassment. I recommend this inn. Unfortunately, there is no open-air bath for those who want it. However, the quality of the spring water is as you would expect from Nikko Yumoto Onsen...it was good.
