This excellent hotel is really a resort. It is off the beaten path, but worth the extra travel time to get there. The staff are very friendly and the food at both restaurants is very good. There is easy access to the beach and it’s quiet. We were there for new years. I highly recommend it!

This is a very peachfull hotel with beach nearby. The food is very good and with a certain amount of guests they open up a buffet with so much choice! The staff is very kind, we have been welcomed by Rihan with a big smile and flowers.

Beautiful place, with friendly staff. Every meal was great, although all of them could not even be compared to the dinnenlr buffet. We arr not done yet with out journey, but i am absolutely convinced that this was the singel best dinner we will have in Sri Lanka. This hotel also has a good pool, and a great location on the beach near Pigeon Iland. The only thing that i would recommend is better/ more spread out wifi.

I wish to express my appreciation to staff after numerous stays in Nilaveli Beach Hotel Trincomalee. Special mention goes to GM Indrajith and Team F&B Chef's at Nilaveli Beach Hotel who were very friendly, Supportive and efficiently rectified all minor issues when needed. Cleanliness of rooms were well appointed all the time, Room Division Manager Sudar and his team should be commended. Our overall experience of staying at Nilaveli Beach Hotel was good and satisfactory, I appreciate all special arrangements required upon my request, a big thank you for the management and staff 🫰

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel right on the stunning beach of Nilaveli. The entire property is spacious, well-maintained, and offers a choice between comfortable rooms in the main building or charming bungalows. The rooms are lovely, with large balconies that provide plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food was outstanding – a perfect blend of local Sri Lankan specialties and international cuisine. Everything was freshly prepared and homemade, with a special emphasis on seafood and fish dishes, which were exceptionally fresh and delicious. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A very special thanks goes to Rihan, who went above and beyond to make sure every wish was fulfilled and our stay was unforgettable. Also not to be missed are the Ayurveda treatments available just a short distance from the hotel – a truly relaxing and rejuvenating e experience. All in all, this is a perfect destination for a relaxing beach holiday, and we highly recommend it! 🌴✨

Good location and nice beach. Hotel is basic. No WiFi in the rooms and only available in public places which is also quite slow. Limited spread in the buffet. Not worth the price we pay. Also very disappointed with the management who was not courteous accommodative of simple requests. There are better places around incomplete. I would not recommend this place to others and would not come again.
