Fabulous location right on the beach. However, the hotel is in need of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms which are also quite grubby. The pool is lovely but not usually cleaned and open until around 9 am. The Sri Lankan breakfast, apart from the fruit, was unappetizing and not up to the standards we had experienced in Sri Lanka so far. Overall the hotel has a lot of potential and would benefit from a general upgrade.

The hotel has incredible views out onto the ocean. The pool is nice although wasn't open on one day of our 3 night stop. There are also broken tiles on the pool floor. The bed was comfy and the staff when about were friendly with a good breakfast. The bits which mark the hotel down; A three night stay and our room wasn't cleaned, not even water replaced or clean towels provided. The laundry service left three of my lighter coloured t-shirts as mucky as before the wash. They were sweat marked but other places had cleaned them previously. There was often no one on reception, we went a couple of times to ask for new water but didn't see anyone so bought some when we were out. There was signs of work being done on some rooms, our bathroom was in need of this. Marked and chipped tiles, a toilet that wobbled when you sat on it. A tap that unless held in place at the correct angle constantly squealed. A plug with some dodgy wiring next to the shower. A dirty mirror. A shower holder that didn't allow for any adjustment. The breakfast was nice but no juice or water offered. The view was good but from our experience we cannot see how the five 5 star reviews are genuine.

We had dinner at the beach restaurants a couple of times during our stay in Nilaveli. There was a good selection of food but the staff were amazingly friendly and attentive towards us. If an extra table was needed it was immediately set up. The restaurant had a lovely relaxed vibe to it and the setting on the shores of the ocean was perfect. Thank you.

Just don't come this place. That is not a hotel. Because of that they have rooms or pool that is not become a hotel. They don't know how to talk with people. They are fooling people. In the beginning they telling low price for the room and in the end it becomes highest. It happens to me today. Don't come this place. This is a horrible place in the sri lanka.

We plan for stay 2 nights eventually stayed only one night, very bad experience overall they provide the old Menu and saying 50% present we will charge extra then then menu after we ate they provide the bill charge 250% then the menu price. I will never recommend this place for peace you got to walk a lot for food. We talk about the justice for over charge and the staff wear got panic trying to take the old bill from us and provide the new bill discount price. As a hotelier I probably know something happening in there rates. you won't find the value of your money They will make you suffer, if incase you order your good make sure the rates before eat. If not they will charge you more then the 5 stars rate. I know the name of the staff but I don't won't to bash somebody's job. Be care full.

El Hotel es una maravilla, justo en frente de la playa! La piscina es estupenda y las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario para sentirte cómodo. Le haría falta un poco más de mimo con el mantenimiento y mejoraría mucho. El desayuno no es muy completo, digamos que es aceptable. La conexión wifi es buena. Quiero mencionar a Sayuranga, un chico muy amable que está en el restaurante, nos atendió de maravilla, siempre atento y con una sonrisa.

Wow, la plage de rêve, lieu calme, mais il y a de l'ambiance pas loin pour se qu'il le veulent. Service aimable et chaleureux, chambres super et propre. La nourriture tout le long de la plage sert du poisson frais et le soir des cocktails pas cher et bien garnie (vitamine sea)

Super hôtel, les chambres sont propres, le personnel est très gentil, les repas sont délicieux et ils s'adaptent aux goûts des gens (piquant ou pas), très peu de monde à cette période de l'année, alors c'est vraiment chouette de se ressourcer dans ce havre de paix. A 30 € par nuit pour 2 personnes, c'est la classe ! Je recommande fortement.
