Shangri-La Ningbo

The room was spotless, and the in-room amenities were comprehensive. Both the Shang Palace and Yi Cafe buffet restaurant were clean, and their food was definitely worth trying. The Ningbo K11 mall is just across the road, offering a wide array of dining options. The 200 RMB voucher from Shangri-La allowed me to fully enjoy some drinks at Good Me.

The night view from the Executive Lounge was absolutely stunning! Aside from the sofa bed being a bit firm, everything else offered incredible value for money. The concierge was always proactive in helping with luggage and opening/closing car doors. The hotel's location is also great, making it easy to hail a taxi.

Shangri-La is my top choice when I visit Ningbo, offering an immersive and luxurious experience from start to finish! The hotel is centrally located with excellent transport links, making it easy to get to business districts and attractions. From the moment I checked in, I experienced the warm and attentive service of the Guest Relations team, Roman and Anna. Anna proactively upgraded my room for free; the room itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I must give a special shout-out to Anna. Her service was gentle, thoughtful, and incredibly detailed. She patiently recommended authentic local restaurants and great value souvenir shops, saving me the trouble of planning – truly warm and considerate! On the day of my stay, the hotel had a large conference, and the ground-floor breakfast restaurant was crowded and noisy. Instead of giving a perfunctory response, the staff promptly and thoughtfully arranged for me to have a complimentary breakfast at the Horizon Club on the 28th floor. I enjoyed stunning panoramic views of the Sanjiangkou, a tranquil and comfortable dining environment, and a rich variety of Chinese and Western breakfast options, including local Ningbo specialties. It was a complete upgrade to my experience. The service from Leah at the Horizon Club was timely, flexible, and attentive, with every detail showcasing the high standards of a luxury hotel. My stay was incredibly delightful, and I will definitely book here again on my next trip. I highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers!

Facilities: What can I say, the hotel was built in 2009, and the facilities are fairly well-maintained. However, the hairdryer is still a Flyco, while many hotels at this price point are using Dyson now. If you're traveling with a baby, I'd recommend bringing your own hairdryer, as the Flyco is incredibly loud. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a great job; the room was very clean, and they were very enthusiastic. Environment: The view of the Three Rivers is really beautiful, and the location is excellent. It's quite close to Tianyi Square and the Old Bund, and it's convenient for both taxis and food delivery. Service: Our butler, Wenby, was very responsive. Noticing we had a baby and that I wanted to make tea, she proactively arranged for the cleaning staff to bring extra water. Breakfast was decent. There's a buffet lunch on weekends, which is pretty much on par with Shangri-La buffets across the country. You can even get a slightly better deal by purchasing through the Shangri-La mini-program than on review platforms.

A true 'recharge station' indeed! This place is a one-stop shop for shaking off fatigue, enjoying great food, and boosting your mood. The service is attentive and the hygiene is top-notch. It's my go-to spot for business trips and travel. I'll definitely be back if I need to.

Five stars, highly recommend the Shangri-La Hotel Ningbo! I specifically chose this hotel for a trip with my parents, and the entire stay far exceeded our expectations, making it incredibly comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's overall decor is grand and elegant, the public areas are clean and bright, and the rooms are spacious. The soft furnishings and bedding were very comfortable, and my parents were especially pleased. I particularly want to commend all the staff at the Horizon Club Lounge. Their service was meticulous and incredibly thoughtful. Our dedicated butler, Wenby, was professional and attentive, proactively helping us register our car's license plate in advance, saving us the hassle of dealing with parking entry and exit. Knowing we had several people in our party, she promptly arranged an extra bed for our room. Her efficiency and reliability, along with her thorough consideration for every aspect of our stay, were truly impressive. Janice from the Executive Lounge also left a wonderful impression; she always had a warm smile, was genuinely welcoming and polite, and her service was gentle and appropriate. Upon learning that we had a tight schedule and needed to continue our journey, she thoughtfully prepared a variety of portable packed snacks. This unexpected gesture added a touch of warmth to our busy travels. From the hardware facilities to the humanistic service, the hotel truly excelled, and every small detail reflected the staff's dedication. It's perfectly suited for traveling with elderly parents, offering an absolutely fantastic experience. The next time I visit Ningbo, this will still be my top choice, and I sincerely recommend it to all my fellow travelers!

On behalf of my parents: This time, the service at Shangri-La was truly exceptional. As soon as we arrived, Guest Relations Manager Roman helped us switch to a river view room. We were moved to the 32nd floor by 9 AM on the 11th. The manager and staff at the Executive Lounge were incredibly warm and welcoming. Before we left, Roman even arranged for sandwiches and cake for us to enjoy on the train. Special thanks to Roman, and Manager Chen and the staff at the Executive Lounge. They really added a wonderful touch to our short trip.

The hotel's location is excellent with beautiful views. Anna, one of the staff members, was wonderful; she communicated proactively about our needs and arrangements, and was always prompt in responding to any questions we had during our stay. The Executive Lounge was impressive overall, with great food and service. Leah and Xiao Li were particularly attentive and friendly. My only minor suggestion for the lounge would be to vary the daily menu a bit more. Our room was cleaned and tidied very well, and the housekeeping staff were clearly dedicated. For a hotel that's been open for over ten years, it's very well-maintained, and the signs of age actually add to its character. The shower head connection and the base of the bathtub faucet had minor leaks. It didn't affect our use, but it's something that should be looked into for maintenance.

I opted for a river-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic views of the three rivers and their banks. Waking up to the morning mist over the river and enjoying the neon reflections at night, every moment was a picturesque scene. The bedding in the room was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were warm and attentive, demonstrating thoughtful service throughout my stay, making it incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It truly lives up to its reputation as a landmark luxury hotel in Ningbo.
