Holiday Inn Express NINGBO CITY CENTER by IHG

The location is fantastic, with many nearby attractions within walking distance. 🤗 My only minor gripe is that the lobby entrance isn't very obvious. I couldn't find it at first and had to park on the side of the road, then lug my bags to the door. 🧳

I previously stayed here on September 7th and 8th, 2020, and decided to book again for this trip. This time, I got it for 281, which was a better deal than before. I stayed in room 308, and the soundproofing was excellent – I didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. I hope the prices are a bit lower next time, as I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and boasts a fantastic location, nestled right between Tianyi Square and Chenghuang Temple. The breakfast included for this price is excellent value. AMY provided wonderful service, and we were even given welcome fruits. While the breakfast was simple, it met our needs perfectly. Plus, there's complimentary coffee in the lobby.

The room was clean, and breakfast was decent. The hotel's location is excellent – Tianyi Square and Chenghuang Temple are both within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Underground parking is available, complete with EV charging spots.

Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service absolutely deserves a five-star rating. The front desk staff were polite and thoughtful, and service requests were promptly attended to. Since there were three of us staying, they generously provided an extra breakfast. The breakfast was excellent, offering a rich variety of options compared to other hotels of a similar standard. Even for someone like me who is a picky eater, there was plenty to choose from, and I felt completely satisfied. The restaurant staff were also very courteous and provided attentive service in a timely manner. I was even pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom faucets were Hansgrohe. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. If I had to mention any minor drawbacks, the hotel's shower caps were too small to fit my head – I hope they can improve their selection of amenities in the future. The room lighting was a bit dim, the telephone was out of order, and the bathroom lacked a rain shower. However, none of these issues significantly impacted my overall experience.
