Lugu Lake South Island Villa Resort Hotel

This is arguably one of the larger hotels by Lugu Lake. Compared to the purely guesthouse-style accommodations nearby, the service here is much more professional and formal. The two ladies at the front desk were particularly welcoming and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Daloshui, with complete amenities, yet it's surprisingly quiet – a real oasis in a lively area. Even though our room was only a partial lake view, we could still fully enjoy the beautiful Lugu Lake from the balcony. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our stay, but I hope to have the chance to visit again.

The lobby has a French flair, and outside the window, there's a beautiful walking path and lake view, especially stunning during sunset with the colorful clouds. You can just sit there, relax, and let your mind wander, completely carefree. The staff were very enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage and showing us to our room with an introduction. This was truly the most wonderful stop on our entire Yunnan trip.

The room was clean and tidy, with a pretty smart design. The restaurant on the first floor was also very comfortable, and I was extremely satisfied with the service. It's right by Lugu Lake, so the environment is fantastic.

This has to be the most value-for-money resort hotel in Lugu Lake. The room facilities are excellent and very clean. Upon check-in, a butler service group chat was set up, and the butler would contact us and check in on us through the group at any time. The hotel lobby facing the lake is incredibly stylish.

The room was a standard twin-bed room with a balcony offering a nice view. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the beds were large and comfortable. The laundry room was clean. There are two restaurants; one has a great view. Seating cannot be reserved and is generally first-come, first-served. The food was good, and they offer group deals.

Absolutely stunning! The views are gorgeous, and breakfast was delicious. It's only a ten-minute walk to the bus station for buses back to Lijiang, and the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service. The room was spotless, very happy with everything. I'll definitely be back!

The room overlooked Lugu Lake, and the bed was very comfortable. The service was great; the staff member was very enthusiastic and proactively helped with luggage to the room. The lobby has an elegant, resort-like decor. I was also very satisfied with the cleanliness.

The room decor and facilities were quite good, and the service was very warm and proactive. The lobby view was also great. However, the lake view from the balcony was completely blocked by five trees, which was very disappointing and seriously inconsistent with the room type photos. Also, the hot water temperature in the room was quite unstable. The bedding, though, was soft and comfortable.

Staying at the Lugu Lake South Island Resort was such a pleasant surprise! The hotel is right on the lake, offering expansive, first-rate lake views. The combination of the lake, the sacred mountains, and the sea of clouds creates a stunning panorama. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. It's incredibly convenient to walk to the lakeside for photos and recreation. The scenery is truly therapeutic, and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lugu Lake. Right outside, there's a lakeside promenade where you can rent electric scooters to explore nearby attractions and capture some great photos.
