Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort Reviews

We arranged private transport from Hanoi hotel to Hidden Charm and the transport was punctual (early in fact). Driver was focused and safe. Check-in at Hidden Charm was a breeze, they served a citrusy warm drink that I enjoyed. Front desk customer service personnel were proactive in suggesting sightseeing spots at Ninh Binh when we asked for suggestions. Breakfast buffet was pretty standard with western bread options and Asian pho, fried rice etc. Location wise, Hidden Charm is very near the Tam Coc boat ticket booth and also offers bicycles for us to cycle to Mua Caves and where the Lying Dragon was. At the entrance to Mua Cave, there will be people trying to get you to park your bikes for a fee, typically 5k VND per bike but we found one close to entrance and charged 2k VND per bike. Our room was at the 7th floor and comes with a expansive view. The bed was comfortable and not too soft. There was also a bath tub for me to enjoy. At the end of trip, the hotel staff arranged for private transport to the Noi Bai airport at my request. Again, driver was early and ride was smooth. I enjoyed my stay at Hidden Charm and would recommend to anyone who wish to stay in a clean hotel with excellent service.

The staff were very courteous and went our of their way to tell us about the highlights of Ninh Binh (places of interest and food). The room were very spacious and clean although it felt a bit warm as we couldn’t turn down the thermostat. Breakfast was excellent, there were many choices although we couldn’t eat much.

Impeccable service especially the hotel Manager Dao, warm & friendly, she shared with us tips to get around and helped us to booked our transportation back to Hanoi. The hotel is clean and breakfast is really delicious, their spring rolls & pho are the best I have tried in Vietnam. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we are grateful that everyone in this hotel going the extra miles to make us feel welcomed. Highly highly recommend.

A true 5 star hotel, in feel look and service, had an amazing time, the staff was super nice and helpful and seems like one of the best places to stay in the area, close to all the main restaurants and attractions, cant wait to visit again. Thank you!

The interior is beautiful. The ceiling is a bit low, so the lobby can feel a bit crowded. It appears to be 4.5 stars. It seems to be a difficult issue to maintain. Cleaning seems to require retraining. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is decent. There are not many kinds and there are not expensive ingredients, but it is delicious and fresh, so I liked that one. Although the swimming pool is small, the facilities are not bad. However, it was disappointing that there were no shower instructions for customers before entering. The gym facilities are not bad, but the cleanliness is also very poor. There aren't many users, so it seems like they usually turn off the air conditioner and open the door, but that's why there's a bit of dust sitting there. Insects are also occasionally seen. It has a large window, so if you tidy up the pool outside the window, the view will be good. The mountain view from the room I stayed on the 7th floor was very pretty, the bed was soft, the sheets were clean, and there was a bathtub. The bathroom door closes tightly, and the bathtub window has a Roman shade. The cleanliness is also poor. It was a bit disappointing that there was no lounge on the 2nd floor. There is an outdoor bar, but it is not available on hot summer days. I haven't tried room service, but the price is cheap, and I tried the goat meat stir-fry at the restaurant, but there was too much lemongrass for my taste, but it was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. The staff was warm and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a great experience.

Our stay at the Hidden Charm was amazing. The service was impeccable, they had great tour packages that included a private tour guide and transportation services which made the experience highly enjoyable and worry free. The property has plenty of amenities, we came at a colder and rainier time but could see how this would be an even more amazing stay with warmer and sunnier weather. It’s walking distance to restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for the Ninh Binh, White Lotus experience!

The service staffs from the front desk and housekeeping are excellent. Always polite and ready to help even before you ask. The room itself is spacious, clean and fairly modern. The bathroom large and bright. My room was facing the pool, rice fields and mountain so amazing view when you wake. The room could use better lighting though. The light placement isnt great. Its ok at daytime but not great at night. The fridge at the room barely gets cold even after 24hrs. You cant adjust the settings because there is no settings to adjust. Anyone fancy drinking semi warm beer? Not me. I booked this hotel mainly for the gym which looked great in the pictures but rather dissapointing in person. It looks like they do not take care or maintain the equipment. A little lubricant and cleaning would go a long way. Some machines are broken down. But the worse thing is the floor. Its uneven in many places so everything is lopsided haha. You will know what i mean once you see it.
