Park Hotel Miyabitei

The room wasn't very big, just tatami-sized with three futons. The view of the snow from the window was lovely, and the onsen was incredibly relaxing – definitely worth experiencing. Dinner and breakfast were both buffet style, which was just average.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of the bus station. Dinner and breakfast were sufficient, though the frozen crab legs weren't great, and I wasn't a fan of the beef's texture. The sweet shrimp and 'Three Delicacies' dumplings were good. There were too many tour groups. The soup was also good.

Great value for money, and the service was excellent – very warm and welcoming. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, especially the beef and crab legs! The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, highly recommend!!!

Our family of three comfortably stayed in a room that featured both a tatami mat area and a Western bed. Upon check-in, we were given traditional Japanese yukata. The onsen (hot spring baths) are conveniently located on the B1 floor. For breakfast, there was a good selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel's location is also quite close to Jigokudani.

The hot spring was amazing! The sulfur smell was quite prominent, but it didn't bother me much. It felt like a very traditional and authentic hot spring experience. I imagine visiting in winter would be absolutely incredible. Can't wait to come back!
