This is an established onsen ryokan. While the facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. The front desk on the first floor and the restaurant on the second floor are elegantly and quaintly decorated, making for excellent photo opportunities. The futons in the tatami room are laid out by staff, so you don't have to do it yourself. It's a 3-5 minute walk from the Onsen Bus Stop, and there's a 7-Eleven right across from the ryokan. Jigokudani Onsen is also within walking distance. As for breakfast and dinner, just look at the pictures – they are fantastic and well worth experiencing. All in all, this place offers incredible value for money, especially during the New Year's period.

I had a lovely stay here. The hotel has a charming, cozy vibe, and the hospitality was top-notch. Both breakfast and dinner were neatly served and flavorful. Even though the private bath was on the smaller side, it was well worth it. Such a perfect getaway!

The hot spring isn't very big, but since there weren't many guests, it felt like a private onsen. The food was decent, but it was more about presentation than actual taste... it looked good but tasted just okay. There are plenty of great restaurants in the Noboribetsu Onsen town, so you don't necessarily have to eat here. I paid over 2000 yen a night when I booked, which was a bit overpriced. It would be a good option if it were around 1000 yen. Overall, it's a cozy little hotel, and I'd consider staying here again if the price is right.

The hotel is really cozy with a limited number of rooms. The staff are lovely. Dinner was incredibly generous – way too much food, I really couldn't finish it all! I forgot to take a picture of the dessert, which was ice cream and nama chocolate. It was rich and made with quality ingredients. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor pools, which was a great experience. I'd definitely come back, especially since it's so convenient for New Chitose Airport, just 50 meters from the bus stop. I stayed in a tatami room for the first time, and it was a novel experience.

The service was excellent! Especially the friendly and cheerful young man at the front desk and the lady working in the dining area. They were incredibly helpful, even assisting us with booking a taxi when our original ride didn't show up. The dinner was also incredibly rich and varied. After finishing what I thought was the last course, I almost left, only to discover there were still main courses and dessert! It was quite amusing. Sleeping on a tatami mat was a new experience; the bed was already made for us by dinner time, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was also fun for our family of three to stay in one room. The hotel is super close to the Bear Park, just a 3-minute walk. It's also only a 10-minute walk to Jigokudani (Hell Valley), so there's no need to worry about the sulfur smell. Overall, a really great stay!

Small and exquisite, with a rich dinner. Overall, the experience was good. If I had to pick out any issues, it's a slightly older property with somewhat dated facilities. However, the welcoming smiles and service attitude from the front desk staff were very pleasant. All in all, it's decent!

The platform should clearly state that the rooms don't have private bathrooms. What even is a shared bathroom? I only found out at check-in, and by then, it was too late to cancel. I reluctantly paid extra for a private hot spring, but then something unbelievable happened: a man brazenly walked into my private hot spring room, even though the 'occupied' sign was hung on the door and it was locked. The shock was indescribable. Although my bathing fee was waived after I complained, the psychological impact will not be resolved anytime soon. Furthermore, the hotel provides both breakfast and dinner. In my personal opinion, dinner was incredibly bad – to sum it up: bland, sweet, and fishy, absolutely inedible. Breakfast, however, was acceptable. In short, I advise anyone reading this to avoid this place if possible and book with extreme caution.

You can tell that all the staff, from the elderly gentleman at the front desk to the young women and the restaurant servers, genuinely love their work; their smiles are truly heartfelt. When checking in, they offer hot tea and towels and help carry your luggage to the room. Ambiance: Although it's an annex of Takinoya, located in the onsen town without any special views, it's very convenient to the station, convenience stores, and all the attractions. The entrance to Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is just a 5-minute walk away. Cleanliness: Despite being open for a while, it's exceptionally clean. Facilities: After visiting Jozankei and Lake Toya on this trip, we all agreed that the onsen water in Noboribetsu Onsen here is the best. The milky white sulfur springs are incredibly rejuvenating after a soak. Food: It's a two-meal plan (dinner and breakfast). Although the portions aren't large, they are exquisite and delicious. We loved it! This small ryokan has a very cozy and welcoming feel. Highly recommended.

Noboribetsu is a concentrated onsen area, surrounded by large hotel-style accommodations. This place, however, is small and exquisite, offering a unique charm. The only minor point is that the hot springs for bathing are a bit small, but both breakfast and dinner are very refined.

Everything was fresh and prepared with a light, healthy touch. The meals alone made the stay worthwhile, especially if you're looking to immerse yourself in *authentic Japanese hospitality and cuisine*. Highly recommended for those who appreciate traditional food in a peaceful, relaxing environment.

The hotel is small and very quiet. It seems to have been open for many years; the rooms are a bit old but spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. The service is typical of a traditional Japanese onsen hotel – excellent and attentive. The dinner was amazing; it's the best I've had at any onsen hotel. Every dish was delicious, and I cleared them all even though I was stuffed. Breakfast was also incredibly tasty, ranking second among all the onsen hotel breakfasts I've had (my top spot is still Hanatei in Kawaguchiko). Be sure to try the free coffee; it's delicious and surpasses many coffee shop offerings. The elderly gentleman I met at the front desk had white hair but a straight posture and spoke excellent English. Overall, I highly recommend this onsen hotel.
