Pretty standard Japanese ryokan and we had a large room. Dinner and breakfast were served in our room by a friendly obaasan. We enjoyed the Onsen and had a good rest in our futon. Food wise I was a tad disappointed compared with other ryokans I’ve stayed at

Noboribetsu Yumoto was the first onsen hotel we saw after getting off the bus, and you could tell it was very old-school! However, the facilities were also extremely dated! The room couldn't have been less clean! It was big, but uncomfortable! The onsen was great though!
