The hotel looks old but everything is working well. The slippers in the room are sticky, so I had to wear the pair in wc. It’s right in front of the bus station, about 10 minutes away from jigokudani. There’s no nice view from the hotel or the onsen, but the onsen water is good.

Traveled to Noboribetsu with friends, mainly to enjoy the hot springs. Manseikaku Hotel is an old-school hot spring hotel, apparently around for 65 years. The room rate included dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffets with a good variety of dishes. After dinner, it was convenient to go out for a walk and some shopping.

Hotel🏨 Pros: The location is quite good, very close to the bus stop, just a 2-minute walk. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a great variety of food. Cons: The hotel is quite old, and the facilities and equipment are showing their age.

This hotel is located in an extensively convenient place as it is adjacent to Noboribetsu Bus Terminal station. It is really friendly to sole travelers with heavy luggage and to family travelers with budget concern in transportation. Staff is also supportive with good English and Mandarin skills. Amenity like massage is a plus for the overall rating. Hotel should focus on updating the hardware of the hotel. For example, electric socket place is not enough and the hot spring facilities should be upgraded or renovated.

The room was spacious and the view from the window was beautiful. Breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of delicious options. The airport shuttle bus stop is conveniently located right across the street, but remember to book online in advance. It's also very close to Jigokudani (Hell Valley).

The condition of the single room and twin room were totally different. The smell of Onsen was going to the single room occasionally. Facilities such as phone/furniture/fittings in the single room were also in unsatisfied condition. Staff did their best to solve. The outdoor Onsen was very good. The Breakfast and Dinner Buffets were excellent. Chestnut Ice-cream and Grape Ice-cream were delicious and not tasted before. Wai San with good English communication skill was sincere. She is helpful and considerate.

Dinner was delicious, the beef was incredibly flavorful! However, out of all the onsen hotels we stayed at during our trip, the smell in the bathroom here really left a lasting impression – a strong urine odor. Everything else was okay, but overall it was not as good as the Toyako Manseikaku.

We booked a one-night stay with two meals included. The dinner buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of seafood dishes, tempura, and delicious desserts.

This is an older onsen hotel, and its main advantage is its proximity to the bus terminal. However, the room facilities are very old, and the cleanliness is questionable (there were chocolate crumbs on the floor). What really angered me was that when my family went to the onsen, they were reprimanded twice by the onsen staff for bringing the large towels from the room. My family doesn't understand Japanese, so they didn't know why she was shouting a lot of incomprehensible things at them. The onsen staff scolded them in front of all the other guests, which was very embarrassing for my family. We paid over 3,000 yuan to stay here during the holiday, and to receive such treatment was truly disheartening! After complaining to the hotel, we demanded a face-to-face apology! However, we had to negotiate and wait near the front desk for almost an hour, which wasted a lot of time and completely ruined our enjoyment.
