We stayed for 1 night on a tour from Shimokita Peninsula to Tsugaru Peninsula. From the coastline, there is a Mamon Onsen near the ski area running in the mountains for a while. There is Yakushi Do hall nearby, and it seems to be a historic hot spring inn. Currently, it is changed to a modern Lee z－ and a hotel building, but the public bath is used by Aomori hiba, and the hot spring hot water is pleasant, but the smell of hiba is good. I think if the weather is good, you can see the stars in the open-air bath. The rooms are a large 12 tatami Japanese room with chairs and tables in the back. It is a bit far from the window, but you can see the sea of Mutsu Bay. I can't hope for the sunset, but the Asahi looked clean. There is a refrigerator in the room, but the drinks will be a store or vending machine on the first floor. There is nothing like convenience stores nearby, so I think it would be better to buy it on the coastline if necessary. The dinner on the tour was a banquet hall on the 1 floor. The table seat was quite inferior to the distance. It is a set dish, but the warm dish is put on the stove, so it remains hot and the cold dish is served cold. I stopped by for a day trip bath. The quality of the spring is a weakly alkaline simple hot spring, which is a mall-type hot spring that flows directly from the hot spring. The room is a bit worried that the bed is close to the entrance, but it is quiet and has ample size and calm. Stayed one night with my wife. The ryokan really matched the scenery of the surrounding mountains. At the same time, you can feel history and tradition from every corner of the wooden inn. The best feature of this ryokan is the historical hot spring. The inn has two types of hot springs. One was too hot for me to submerge my whole body in it for a minute. Also, there was no shower there, so it was a little inconvenient to wash. The other hot spring was still comfortable. In the hot spring, the pillars, the bathtub, and even the bath tub were made of wood, and you could feel the atmosphere. It was unique that the hot water gushed out from the bottom of the bathtub. I think it is a recommended hot spring for those who like historical hot springs. I had a meal in the evening and it was very delicious. Our son is stationed in Misawa, and the hotel is 2 blocks from base. There is a hot breakfast buffet included with the room. We had a smoking room as that is all they had and it wasn't too bad. We did open the window which helped. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. The bath is on the small side but the heated toilet makes up for that. Free parking behind the hotel. We could never find a vacancy but our travel agent was able to.
