Norfolk Waterside Marriott

Worst hotel experiences of my life. I paid for room 2 months in advance checked in at 5 pm they said room wasn’t ready check back in two hours, came back it still wasnt ready!!! They misplaced my credit card and when we came down at 6 am to check out no front desk no valet for at least 45 mins. Valet couldn’t find out keys then finally we seen our car parked on the street RUNNING since 5 pm the night before. Under a NO Parking sign. I got a fifty dollar ticket!!!!! Emailed valet company and response! On top of the the marriot charged me AGAIN for the room paid months prior!!!! And to get a refund I had to EMAIL assist management. And the worst part is my sister is an accountant for the corporate Host Marriot for years!!!!!!!! Do NOT BOOK HERE!

The room was overall clean l, bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t to my standards, around the shower it had built up dirt and the inside of the shower . The floor wasn’t swept in the bathroom at all. The sofa bed was broken so my daughter & I had to macgyver the bed to get it fixed.. overall an okay stay.

Everything was perfect, room looks just like the pictures posted, the staff was very nice overall had a great time

Nice place to stay. Great location to see downtown Norfolk. Self parking needs some work, hotel needs to deal with the town and come up with a plan that works for the customer first and then the hotel and town.

The staff were so nice and helpful. I had a beautiful view of the river and the room was clean and well kept.

Great location but unfortunately the property needs maintenance, kiosk for snacks and drinks needs to be opened to provide better service. Currently, if its closed, you have to pay at the front desk. If its a busy weekend, you will have to wait.

Great bang for the buck. Compared to the other 2 hotels around and the amenities, there exactly the same even with a well know name. Didn't use any of the amenities on the property but did drop in and take a look, very clean. The room was perfectly Clean and staff were helpfull and very friendly. Would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good price per value, this place is a steal.

Had blood on my cover in the room I was staying in , room 1712, had to find housekeeping to get service corrected. Took pic of
