Look, it's an old style motel. It's not the Ritz. And it looks worse than normal because they're renovating. But the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is great. For the money, you can't beat it.

The rooms were a little outdated, but other than that we loved having a full kitchen for a couple dollars more. We were impressed when we got a phone call from the staff before our stay, and equally so when they greeted us by name at check-in. My only complaint is the shower head pressure was too hard and was pretty uncomfortable.

Property is back off the road. Areas close to property fenced off. No problems with people walking through the parking lot from the frontage street.

Best Place For Miles!
It's always a great stay at the Thunderbird! I love the small apartment feeling. Being able to cook my own meals instead of having to go out all the time is very convenient. And all the appliances make it a definite home away from home!
And the staff is cordial, accommodating, and prompt, without being intrusive!

This is a wonderful budget friendly hotel. If you are like us and enjoy a good ol key to your room you are in the right place. It was very clean and close to everything. We were visiting family so we weren't looking for amenities like a pool, or Continental breakfast so this hotel was fine. will definitely stay here again in the future.

We were disappointed the pool wasn't open but as it turned out, we didn’t have time anyways. The staff was so friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great for a one nights stay.

Older hotel but doing some great renovations. Will be grand and very so able being close to a College.
Staff was absolutely great! Will stay here again in the future.

We just spent the weekend here and it was amazing!! Mel is mentioned in several times in the reviews and I see why! She goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. Everything about the stay there was awesome. We will definitely be back!
