La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oklahoma City Norman

We had been on a long drive from Canada to Texas and checked in on Monday night. We woke up at 9:20 a.m. to have breakfast because we had been told it was served until 10 am. It turned out that breakfast ended at 9am and was only served until 10 am on Sundays.

Nice clean rooms, didnt like the beds, very uncomfortable ! Breakfast was a joke! Some cold cereal, yogurt or a muffin or bagel! At least the coffee was warm!! Coffee in the room was only enough for 1 cup!!

This room was descent. The staff did a great job with the many softball young kids and parents and made them feel welcome. Bad thing is coffee ran out by 830 in am and no cleaning of room.

It was a basic place to spend the night. We didn't spend any time there, just slept there, so it was fine.

The property is in a good location. The rooms were clean and plenty of restaurants close to the property. We did have an issue on the first night. My wife started scratching her arms and turned on the lights to see if there were ants or something else. She killed 3 almost invisible bugs. They looked like bed bugs. They already had blood in them. She went to the desk to have them move us to a different room and the staff moved us immediately. The next morning my wife went back to the front desk to return the keys from the room with bugs and told the employee the situation. Employee yelled at my wife and told her not to say that what bit her were bed bugs. With a very loud voice, she told my wife that they could have been mosquitos, fleas, ticks, or some other bug but not bed bugs. She basically called my wife ignorant for not knowing what bit her. My wife just told her that she knew the bugs and it was a bed bug. My wife is allergic to any type of insect, so she had several red sores on her arm and feet. This particular staff member was very rude.

My only complaints were: 1) no ice machine on the third floor. I walked the hall four times because the sign that you see at eye level when you exit the 3rd floor elevator indicated there was a vending area, only to learn later there is no ice on the third floor but there is a sign in the elevator indicating such but the sign was eye level with a 6+ foot tall man not with a 5’6” woman, and 2) the toilets were the kind that are child height and I had to hold on to the vanity so this 75-year-old woman didn’t fall in the floor every time I went to the bathroom.

Quick stay for a concert. When we got there the line to check in was huge- but the staff checked everyone in as quick as possible. Convenientlly located just a quick drive to the stadium.

Easy parking, friendly staff, dining area, hallway, room was all very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Arrived 1 hr early, wouldn't let me check in because they needed time to inspect the room...we waited 40 min, they let us in to a mothball smellin, stained comforter, and piss on the toilet seat "clean" room. The older lady up front was cranky and rude! Saw a maid vaping also...nice place yall
