This was my second time at fort tirocol in 2 years. I was so impressed by the hotel in 2022 that i booked the property again in 2023. The management had surely changed at the property. Even though i stayed for only 1 day before heading out of goa, the stay was blissful, however, the food, which is so famed left a lot to wonder about. We had ordered the beef medallions and had told the waiter to have the beef well done. However, the beef was not cooked properly and was rare. The restaurant charged us for it anyways ***** with service charge (which was later waived off, when i protested. Furthermore, the property needs maintenance. The walls in the rooms were crumbling and when you are charging so much for your stay, a fridge is mandated inside your room. The wifi was a struggle to connect to and the voltage was constantly fluctuating, with the lights flickering almost like a paranormal scene.

Especially bathroom which has spots at many places. - ⁠lighting in the master room is very low - ⁠Towels are not at all clean. Threads coming out, stains at many places - ⁠shower pressure very low, hot water not available, only warm - ⁠no clothes hanging hooks available in bathroom - ⁠breakfast items were cold. Even during our trip in northern colder towns, we were served items hot. - ⁠also breakfast options were limited and taste was mediocre - ⁠our room door got opened even with another room key which is unsafe Rest, staff is courteous and friendly, especially security.
