I’ve stayed in this apartment building before under different management, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Before arriving, I had already informed the host of my arrival time since I was rushing to another destination. Despite that, they insisted I arrive first and wait for their staff to come down. I ended up waiting around 5 minutes just to get the key.
When I entered the unit, the room had a strong unpleasant smell, the floor was dusty, and the bedsheets didn’t feel fresh at all. I even had to sweep the floor twice myself because it was so dusty — clearly, the place hadn’t been cleaned properly before my arrival.
To make things worse, no drinking water was provided, and the towels smelled bad, as if they hadn’t been properly washed or dried.
The air conditioner wasn’t working either. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the staff to come up and check, only for him to assume I didn’t know how to use the remote. After realizing it was actually a problem with the AC, he said he needed to get some tools and disappeared for another 10 minutes.
No one bothered to update me until I reached out again, and then I was told the supervisor would come to fix the AC and I needed to wait another 30 minutes. It was already 8 PM, and I had somewhere else to be. I asked what would happen if the AC couldn’t be fixed — whether I could change rooms or get a refund — and was told they were fully booked and no refund would be given even if the AC didn’t work.
The toilet was dirty, the shower head was rusty, and overall, the room was poorly maintained. The customer service was slow and unhelpful. I would not recommend booking this Airbnb from this establishment — there are far better-managed and cleaner units in the same building.
