A real hidden gem! We went there just for tea and cake and were so impressed with the lunch menu that we had more than planned. The food was delicious, homemade and reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and really care about providing great service and quality food. If you haven’t been yet, go and support this local spot!

They are advertising Country Inn and Tea Rooms. Admittedly it was a Sunday but still only just after 3pm. People sitting outside and came out with glasses and bottle of wine, hogging both Sun umbrellas. We were told that they are only open certain days and until 3pm for tea etc. He kept plugging breakfast though. Considering it's the Summer months and beautiful weather weren't even given the opportunity to have a cold drink. It's a shame we won't visit again as they don't seem as if they are bothered really. Maybe advertise the times you are open for Customers.

Great hotel. Dogs are made very welcome. Breakfast was very good quality and cooked really well. Room was very comfortable and clean. It’s a shame the bar is not open and that they don’t serve evening meals as there isn’t much choice nearby, however, that wouldn’t stop us returning.

Wow, what can I say? This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning in every way possible. And I'm looking forward to returning one day. The decor of the rooms is of a very high standard. As for the bathroom, amazing! If I had to say anything negative is that I felt the quilt could have done with been a thicker heavier tog, but that is my only criticism. They provided a portable electric radiator, so that was suffice to keep me warm. The joys of being single! Thank you for such a memorable stay, and I'm sharing all my wonderful photos with family and friends.

Attentive and helpful on the on the phone prior to visiting, comfortable, cosy, beautiful setting for a pre breakfast stroll. Very helpful at breakfast around dietary requirements, could have done with a bit more certainty around cooked breakfast items, but answered all questions with care and offered to get more/ other bits. Was beautiful in very early spring, can imagine it being even more special during the sunnier months. Didn’t get to use all the indoor seating areas due to time, but all looked incredibly inviting. Will definitely bear in mind for future visits.

We Stayed in the 3 bedroom Tack Room cottage, opposite the main building. The cottage was absolutely spotless, very comfortable and well equipped with quality furnishings. It even had Elemis products in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our booking and served in the main building. Every member of staff we encountered were professional and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here. Only observation is the signage from the main road isn’t great and could be easily missed.

Just returned from a lovely few days away at Scarborough Hill Inn . We stayed in room 3 which overlooked the front of the property , had a lovely view of the fields and the sun rise . The bed was very comfortable , with well decorated rooms looks like it was recently refurbed . Tea/ coffee making facilities fully stocked everyday and bottled water replenished . The breakfast was lovely , full buffet style with both hot and cold choices . Staff friendly and offered visiting options for the area . Would recommend for a cheeky mini break :)

Beautiful place, my daughter and I stayed for one night only, immaculately clean, the bed was so comfortable, breakfast fabulous,and staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Great location very peaceful.perfect stay for us.

We were super impressed with this hotel! We only stayed one night but we loved it and will definitely be coming back, we took our dog, very comfy and welcoming. Highly recommended. It was very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was too very impressive, a fair selection, and was good quality, only met one member of staff and she was lovely
