Windward Passage Hotel

Was placed in a easy location to get to and leave from. It has numerous shopping areas and restaurants

Hotel was aight lil out dated but all in all was okay. Definitely close to a lot of activity though.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! The website states this is a luxury hotel , this hotel is far from luxury! Very outdated and dirty. Once I arrived ,the first thing I noticed was how dirty the walls were and the wall paper near the elevator pealing. The furniture is rundown and dirty in the lobby , pool area & room. I was greeted by the nice lobby staff/security. As I entered the room I was highly unimpressed the floors were sticky, room was dusty & the tub/shower had hair in it. The room cleaner didn’t speak English so speaking to her was unless. We arrived on a Monday and noticed the restaurant and bar is only open on Tuesday-Sunday. So , I planned to relax by the pool and eat at the hotel restaurant only to be told they weren’t open on Tuesday and to try back Wednesday (sn: the security offered some great local suggestions) when the flyer in the elevator clearly says open. On Wednesday I notice the house cleaner and chief sitting outside and asked what was being served for dinner only to be met with the chief being rude. I guess I was disturbing him. However , I really wanted to try the food which was pretty tasty . I come to ST. Thomas yearly , I will never stay at the Windward again. If I could rate my experience here it would be a -10. Run the opposite way!

Restaurant hours were non-existent. Bar area had competing sound of loud televisions and bose-speakers blasting bar-music, so loud that even the bartender had to yell to be heard and conversation was impossible. Room safe was non-functional. Room 409.

they didnt check me in ! they said hotel was full , this is what happened after a 18 hours airplane trip !

I could not check in at the given time for some unknown reason. The room condition was poor; the safe did not work, the sink light did not work, handles were missing from room furniture drawers and there was no outlet by the beds to charge electronics At breakfast there were no obvious;y available staff and as two rooms were full I could not ask for a seat or if breakfast was included so left and ate at another restaurant The one good thing to say...'the toilet paper was excellent''!.

Dusty, run down, deserted and need to close down. When complained to the manager about the conditions, she could care less. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. It’s not worth the money. What made me the most irritated was they have it listed as 4 stars and it’s not even 1 star. When something is listed as 4 stars, they would at least have breakfast, wifi, a workout gym that works, a cart to help take luggage up or something. It was absolutely not 1 amenity.

I don’t make many reviews but this hotel for the money they charge and what it has to offer is day and night . No amenities , no breakfast , roaches in room .

My reservation was for 2 rooms one night. They only had one room and messed up the check in process 3 times.
