Lovely hotel, reception and bar areas very nice with the reception areas having lovely marble flooring. Our room was lovely some aspects a little dated and the flooring was very sloped. Most definitely didn’t affect our time. Great parking, and in a brilliant location a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Would book the hotel again.

The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. When you go to have breakfast, you will find it has a sense of history. You can go for a stroll in the church opposite, which has hundreds of years of history. The entire city is full of hundreds of years old buildings, so you can go out and walk around when you have time. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby, a ten-minute walk away.

Room 314 is like sleeping on the M6. And when next door showers, the noise in 314 is awful - so loud

It is an old property built on many levels so there are a fair few steps up and down. Regency suite was lovely but out of the way. Care will be needed as stairs and corridors to suite are uneven as to age of the property.
Over all the stay was amazing food is great and couldn't fault anything.
