I recently stayed at a Premier Inn in Nottingham, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I booked a standard double room but was given an accessible room instead, which wasn’t the main issue. The real problem was the condition of the room. It didn’t feel properly cleaned, the bed wasn’t well made, and the bathroom was in a poor state. There was visible grime on the accessible chair, which was quite off-putting, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations. The bathroom drainage was also a major issue. After every shower, water would spread across the floor, making it difficult and uncomfortable to use. Given the condition of the bathroom, I didn’t feel comfortable using it at all. I raised these concerns at reception and asked to be moved, but I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. I was only given extra towels to manage the water, which wasn’t a real solution. To make things worse, I accidentally left behind my charger and slippers. I called the hotel the next day and was told I would receive a callback once housekeeping checked, but I never heard back. Multiple follow-up calls were also unanswered. Overall, this was a very poor experience, especially in terms of cleanliness and customer service. Sadly, it has put me off staying at Premier Inn again.
