Very old rooms, they charge 300-400 usd per night while they don’t even pain the walls or buy air freshner. Rooms are smelly, bedsheets and pillows are old and smelly, the mattress is terrible, and the FOOD!… I rather not feed it to my dog, better buy something outside! They made me wait till 4pm to check in because the room wasn’t ready, and the checkout time at 12 they sent their staff to nock the door like police officers!!

Check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. The hotel facilities are outdated; the air conditioning and mini-fridge compressor hummed all night, which disturbed my sleep. I was hesitant to use the hairdryer because it made crackling noises. Service was decent. There's an infinity pool, and it's easy to get to the beach.

There were bed bugs on the bed and the hygiene was absolutely terrible. The pillows smelled awful. The breakfast buffet had very few options and was incredibly poor value for money. It was an extremely bad experience. Staying at this hotel for a vacation is like paying to suffer.

A gorgeous hotel, a great location, very friendly staff, very low tides, beautiful pools, a jungle-like setting, we saw lots of starfish in the sea, and a very varied food selection. We had some booking issues, but they resolved them quickly! We absolutely loved everything, highly recommend.

My Blu Hotel Zanzibar exceeded all expectations! Excellent location on Kendwa Beach, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, and dinner with a sea view was simply magical. The pool was cozy, the Wi-Fi was reliable. Everything was thought of down to the last detail. We'll definitely be back!

A good hotel, located in a bay, you can only walk along the beach at low tide during the day. In general, the low tides are not strong. The rooms are clearly tired.
