⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing experience Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had. We arrived before check-in and were told to give them about 25 minutes to prepare the rooms. We left to get food and came back around 4 PM, but the rooms still weren’t ready. I had booked two rooms — one pool view and one sea view. Neither room matched what I had paid for. The pool-view room had no pool view, and the sea-view room barely had a view of the sea. When I complained, the manager basically told me that because they had many guests, they couldn’t accommodate what I had booked. That is not my problem — I paid for those specific rooms. The manager was also extremely rude and disrespectful. I personally felt that the way I was treated was racially motivated, which made the whole experience even worse. Thankfully, another staff member eventually stepped in and helped us. I had also requested a birthday setup in the room, which was not done. Considering this was a birthday trip, that was another huge disappointment. For the price we paid, I expected much better service and for the room we booked to actually match what was advertised. I honestly would not recommend this place. The service, room allocation, communication and overall experience were extremely disappointing. They should even stop advertising for awe view it’s a worst of money

The service offered and the price do not match. It looks nice on the pictures online and it's not that bad on the outside but the room we were given was not clean, had old stains on the wall and the floor tiles. At night there was no water in the toilets so we had to be using buckets. For the 4 nights we stayed, water and bath tiles was not replaced even after asking for them. One positive the pool area is nice and they have a nice big pool. There is no phone in the rooms you have to use watsApp to communicate with reception. And whatever you do, if you are android user, DO NOT USE THEIR WIFI even if the passwords are per gadget, my phone was hacked. The restuarant is clean . The food is basic and the first night we arrived, they only had chicken and beef, though after they had a variety. If you plan on being out all day and just coming to bath and sleep, then that is your place.

Great for the price, only stayed for 1 night so didn’t get to use the pool but the room and breakfast were great. Although the ‘Sea view’ room only saw a sliver of the water over the trees

The hotel is located almost 12 mins from the beach by walking,it has a nice pool surronded by garden. The room is spacious but lacks basic amenities like shower gel or shampoo. The breakfast is horrible, very poor, no varities and not eatable. The owner is a lovely guy though

The place is clean and great staff however the food at the restaurant is not nice

Arrived at the hotel to find there was no running water or air conditioning which is understandable given Zanzibars intermittent electricity - particularly given it was new years. Except service was terrible - had to ask several times for water when our room was delayed. Front staff never once smiled or interacted at us, scoffed at our requests for transportation booking. Showers didn’t get hot, poor flow, and shower head was broken so the water went everywhere. There was hair everywhere in the toilet and the ‘cleaned’ towels had dirty sticky tap over them. We understand new years is the busiest time of the year so things may be different at other times - but given our current experience we wouldn’t book again.
