A really lovely house, clean and in a quiet location outside of the centre of town. The absolute star of this listing is the host Shameera who is one of the best there could be. He’s incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and always on hand with great tips and ideas on where to go and what to do. His breakfast was also exemplary. Thanks for a great stay

Lovely stay at Villa Tea Fields in Nuwara Eliya! We really enjoyed our time here. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a pleasant and cozy interior. The location is fantastic — right in the middle of beautiful tea plantations, very peaceful and scenic. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were warmly greeted, treated to a wonderful breakfast, and even received lovely little gifts, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. A great place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Highly recommended!

This wonderful hotel boasts English charm and warm Sri Kanjan hospitality! We were freezing cold after a long motorbike journey and we're promptly treat to a great pot of hot tea. All food is freshly prepared and so delicious. I really recommend staying in for dinner. The rooms are cosy and comfortable (no need for fans or aircon) and wifi is good.

Despite its proximity to town, it feels wonderfully secluded, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the large windows that showcased the surrounding natural beauty – waking up to misty hills was truly magical! The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless, with a supply of hot water to beat the chilly weather. The villa has a cozy common area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The garden is well-maintained, providing a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning tea or coffee. Free Wi-Fi was available, though I recommend disconnecting for a while to soak in the tranquility of the setting. The on-site restaurant served delicious, freshly prepared meals. Their Sri Lankan breakfast was a highlight – hearty, flavorful, and made with love. The staff was accommodating to dietary preferences, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. Villa Mount Royal is a perfect choice for those seeking a blend of comfort and natural beauty in Nuwara Eliya. Whether you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family in need of a peaceful retreat, this villa ticks all the boxes.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The family room setup was perfect for us—spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. The amenities really made the trip: we made use of the free kids' club, the heated indoor pool, and massages at the spa. The onsite restaurants also served fantastic meals throughout our stay. One quick tip for future guests: try to avoid booking a room on the first floor near the lifts. Since the restaurant is located on that level, there was a fair amount of foot traffic and noise in the evening. Aside from that, it was a perfect experience!

The location shares a view of the lake. It is a good walk from town but l cannot say how long it was as it rained the whole time we were there. A cosy hotel, however the heating in the main dining and lounge area is broken so people had blankets around them. This needs to be fixed, to ensure comfort and coziness. The room was fine, and a great price. The staff are beautiful and very attentive and fun. Very, very little English, which did not bother me, however things do get ‘lost in translation’ even with my professional sign languages! Some great little places in town. Love it.

The hotel is in the city center, quiet, decorated in English style. Very polite administrator. Breakfast is delicious

Good view, nice breakfast, big room, come with heater and warmer, nice hospitality, we arrive at 1130pm so late, n they still need to help us checking in, hot water and tea provided

Old but good.. need maintenance it is enough :)
