Nice place with a lot of old stuff on display. The arrival process is very welcoming and friendly. The room we had was small with the comfortable bed taking almost all space. The room was quite cold when we arrived and the floor stayed cold during our stay. Bathroom is also small but functional. The hotel is cozy, inviting and staff is kind. Before dinner we went to the bar and ordered a cocktail and a beer. We were asked to sit and the bartender would bring our drinks. That didn’t happen. A little later when she saw us, she remembered and brought our drinks. At our 5 course dinner we were patiently waiting for our first small course. We looked around and another table were also uncertain what was going on. We stopped a waiter and from his response we were obviously forgotten. The service appeared very stressful and unstructured, almost random. The other part of the restaurant seemed to work just fine. The food was very very good and the restaurant very nice and cozy. Breakfast is good also. Our stay was one night, maybe we were unlucky with a bartender and waiter forgetting us. Great place and worth a visit. Remember slippers for the cold floor if visiting in winter time.

This was the second time we opted for Villa Brunnby during a road trip in southern Sweden. Check-in was a breeze and we were offered a drink while we waited for our rooms to be ready. As we had a dog with us, we were offered to have our dinner in a separate room, outside the main dining area. This was really a nice and unique experience. The five course meal (or acts) was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the game room with shuffle board. Peter Kiss took really great care of us during the entire stay. I can really recommend this facility.
