AC Hotel Oakland Downtown

The hotel was reasonably priced, very clean, and comfortable. Access to downtown was also excellent. My biggest concern was safety, but when I asked the valet parking security guard on the first floor about the neighborhood, he was very kind and helpful, allowing me to enjoy sightseeing and walks during the day without worry. I'm truly grateful.

Overall, it's good; convenient transportation and relatively new facilities, except that it wasn't cleaned one day.

The room facilities were very good, the breakfast was good, the hallway doors were a bit noisy when opening and closing, but the service was good.

The hotel is new and includes a buffet breakfast, but there are no convenience stores in the surrounding commercial area. Also, there's no parking, only valet parking, which costs a hefty $60 per night.

It's neither good nor bad. The exhaust fan in the bathroom seems to be unable to be turned off. It is required to be cleaned every other day, but it was only cleaned once every five days. The location is near the city hall. Try not to go out at night. You know Auckland.

The hotel is in downtown Oakland, not too long after getting off the highway. The king-size room I booked was given a twin-bed room, but I was too tired and late to change it that day. Because it is located in the city center and the city hall is right outside the window. There are many homeless people, so try to go out as little as possible at night.
