I’m not sure why I was asked about breakfast or laundry because the place has neither. The check in desk is on the second floor and my door was directly across from that and all windows are internal so you can’t open the blinds and you can hear absolutely everything people are saying in the halls there is a doorbell that is loud it woke me up at 430am one day. The place is quite run down, the first room I was in was DIRTY there as somone else’s hair in the bed all through the sheets and the bath mat was filthy, the shower was not cleaned and was full of soap scum and someone else’s hair, I wiped the top of the toilet down and the tissue was black after, as well as the inside of the toilet looked like it still had somes poop specks in the bowl, I asked to move rooms and it was only mildly better the bed sheets were stained and the beds are super hard. I found someone’s toenail clippings on the floor of the second room as well as dead spiders in the shower window and again the top of the toilet was filthy. And the only chair was filthy as well. I did not feel comfortable here at all and there is no safe in the room and no mini fridge or ice so you can’t keep anything cold unless you want to use the communal fridge in the hall. The staff were nice but only one of the 3 spoke some English (not the end of the world as we are in Mexico but you will need your translator app), they booked me a cab when I left which I appreciate. I would not recommend staying here $400 for 4 nights

The rooms were spacious compared to other hotels. Wish the beds were bigger but overall had a great experience.

Absolutely loved my stay, excellent location, the staff was so friendly and accommodating and available, the room was clean, good AC and hot water for the shower. I have zero complaints highly recommend for your stay in Oaxaca.

Nice and clean, hot water worked. Super close to the main town square. Reception is super nice. The cleaning lady helped us get our laundry done for cheap too. Would definitely stay here again. It was totally a bargain.

The room was well located a few blocks from the Zocalo, but it was in a slightly less frequented area with fewer shops than I would have liked. The checkin desk is on the second floor rather than the entrance/first floor, so it's a little confusing. The proprietors used a useful WhatsApp platform that allowed for Spanish/English translation, but they did not speak much English so communication could have been smoother. The hosts were friendly and hardworking, helping whenever they could. The building was clean and functional, and the rooms were nicely furnished, but the central part of the building was fairly basic with no decorations.

The hotel itself looks like a converted office building. There’s no soundproofing at all. A lot of echo. A family lives there so you’re going to hear everything through the thin windows and doors. Do not book this hotel for rest or relaxation. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi was very fast! Bed was average; not comfortable or uncomfortable. Water pressure in the shower was weak. It will double your shower time. One time there was no cold water, just hot. Air conditioner was nice to have.

The room was pretty but when wanting to sleep, there was people slamming doors and kept turning the lights off and on which didn’t let me and my family sleep.

The free drink is just a water dispenser or cold coffee- that’s the daily manager reception. The room I reserved was not ready so they put me in a different one. I specifically reserved one with a table and 4 chairs and got one with no table and 1 chair.
