This is a fantastic onsen ryokan. It's only a 5-minute walk to the hot spring town, and the night views there are absolutely beautiful. The dinner cuisine was exquisite, with particularly delicious beef. The open-air bath offers a wonderful view, especially in summer when it's surrounded by lush greenery and the air is so fresh. Highly recommend!

The room and bed are just the right size for two people, very comfortable. The atmosphere is nice.

Probably our favourite stay in Japan 2025! Traditional ryokan than comes with dinner and breakfast. Within walking distance to the main onsen town.

Good location. It takes Only 5 minute walk to the Onzen Main Street. Food and meals were ok. Hotel provide shuttle bus for guest from or to train station.

The environment is comfortable, the food is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, especially the snow scenery.

We took the JR from Ueno to Oishida Station, and there was a shuttle bus from the inn staff to pick us up right out of the gate, which was super good. Go to the hot spring lobby, at 2 pm, but check-in and pick up the room to 3 pm, so I ground outside the inn, see what to eat, 5 minutes walk will walk to the spot of the photo spot. It was super beautiful, plus it was snowing, just right. There are only 2 shops with food at the photo spot, one is super crowded, the other doesn't open until 3:30 pm, so it's best to eat something before going. Picked up the room at 3, super large and super comfortable, daily necessities, toothpaste toothbrush towel, shampoo shower gel. The room window view is super beautiful. The inn is a one-night-two, dinner super super rich kaiseki cuisine, all the food is very aesthetic and delicious. Breakfast is nine-bar snacks, and there are other buffets of food and drinks, as you wish. Inn and outlying areas, there are no shops for supper and no cup noodles snacks. It is recommended that people who want to eat supper should bring their own cup noodles 🤣 I was afraid of crowds of people taking a hot spring bath at night, so I went to take a dip at 6:30 in the morning. No one~right. The hot springs are separate areas for men and women. To whole plant, not allowed to wear clothes to soak. This time I went to a hot spring in the snow. It was the first time. It felt super nice and the environment was super beautiful😍 Silver Mountain Hot Spring, really worth going, super beautiful environment, hostel service and rooms, food, everything to extremely good 👍👍
