Room was ok. At the breakfast buffet, seating was limited. We found an unreserved open table. After about 5 minutes, two longer-stay guests asked us to move since they preferred to eat at our table. We refused since all of the empty tables were reserved. The staff sided with them and got very rude quickly. It was like a prison bullying scene from a movie. Outrageous situation - don’t go here.

Das Schlossberghotel ist ein liebenswertes Hotel wo einfach alles passt. Hier wird ein Frühstück angeboten, dass keine Wünsche offen lässt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich war für drei Tage mit Halbpension in diesem Hotel, um in der Nähe zu wandern. Das Positive am Hotel sind geräumige Zimmer, ein überaus reiches Frühstücksbuffet, sehr freundliche Besitzerin und Personal sowie das kleine hauseigene Bad und die Lage in Oberhof. Das Hotel könnte hier und da ein bisschen Renovierung und ein neues Design gebrauchen. Zudem würde ich empfehlen, dass Abendessen doch lieber auswärts zu genießen falls man wie ich Vegetarier ist.

Nettes familiäres Hotel. Frühstücksbüffet abwechslungsreich & vielfältig. 3 Gang Abendmenü tolle thüringische Küche , sowie auch für Veganer geeignet. Unser Barkeeper Jens hatte stets einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen und trug so zu guter Abendstimmung bei.

Wir waren für 3 Tage in diesem Hotel, eigentlich um Wellness zu machen. Das Positive geräumiges ruhiges Zimmer, ein überaus reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, freundliches Personal. Das Hotel könnte hier und da ein bisschen Renovierung und ein neues Design gebrauchen, insbesondere im Wellnessbereich. Ein Wellnesshotel, wie auf der Homepage beworben, ist es definitiv nicht. Der Wellnessbereich ist für die Größe des Hotels viel zu klein, sehr ungemütlich, unvorteilhafte Räumlichkeiten und extrem schlechte Luft. Hier ist definitiv noch ganz viel Luft nach oben. Als Wellnesshotel können wir es nicht empfehlen. Allerdings für aktive Wanderer und Skifahrer optimal.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut ind der Nähe vom Zentrum. Kostenfreie Hotelparklätze für PKW sind vorhanden. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist super ausgestattet, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Halppension gebucht. Frühstücksbuffet ist ordentlich und das Abendessen bekommt man als 3 Gänge Menu. Essen war absolut spitze.
