Hard to know what exactly to say about the panorama hotel. It’s worn pretty much everywhere. Rooms are small and if you’re here in the summer time you’ll never escape the scorching heat as the windows only open slightly for safety reasons. There’s no ventilation in the bathrooms so if you do decide to use the pool, your swimwear will never dry. Our toilet was clogged and required service so we couldn’t use it for an hour and a half. Bit annoying staying on the 9th floor with two small kids and having to travel to the basement for toilet use. There are no mini fridges in the rooms which is also a bit annoying when it’s 34 degree Celsius The pool is hot - so don’t expect to cool off on a hot day. The pool changing areas are newly renovated and nice but also lacks ventilation. Restaurant is good - buffet is solid well made German food. The play areas are good but again hot, even if it’s only 20 degrees outside

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Panorama Hotel. Der letzte Besuch war während Corona mit vielen Abstrichen, so dass wir hofften, dass es diesmal besser ist. Positiv ist die Lange. Man kann direkt vom Hotel zum Wandern starten und im Winter auch zum Wintersport oder Rodeln. Das Angebot für Kinder ist vielfältig mit Pool, Indoor-Spielplatz u. a. Das Hotel an sich ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die letzte Modernisierung liegt auch schon mehr als 20 Jahre zurück, so dass Preis-Leistung hier nicht passen. Wir haben für ein Familienzimmer mit einer Abtrennung für die Kinder mit Halbpension 335€ pro Nacht gezahlt. Davon 40€ pro Person/ Tag für die HP ohne Getränke. Für die Kinder gibt es keinen Rabatt. Das Buffet besteht aus Convenience Produkten und ist jeden Tag ähnlich aufgebaut. Einige Getränke aus der Karte waren zum Abendessen nicht verfügbar, was bei der kleinen Auswahl verwunderlich ist. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht eine Grundordnung zu halten.

Es ist herrlich hier! :) ich kann die teilweise negativen Bewertungen in keiner Weise bestätigen. Alles sehr freundlich und sehr sauber. Und so eine Auswahl beim Essen habe ich in einem Hotel noch nie erlebt. Es ist so schick angerichtet, wird immer wieder nachgefüllt und schmeckt sehr gut. Die Eingangshalle ist wunderschön geschmückt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Mein Vater war von dem Schwimmbad ebenfalls begeistert. Zusammengefasst sind wir sehr sehr zufrieden und haben bereits den nächsten Urlaub hier gebucht :)

Wir sind aus der Nähe von Oberhof. Wir wollten das Hotel aufgrund seiner historischen Geschichte unbedingt besuchen..wir hatten eine Nacht gebucht. Der Empfang und der Check-in verliefen nahezu problemlos. Allerdings funktionieren unsere Zimmer Karten nicht sofort. Am Empfang würde uns schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Das Zimmer hatten wir in der 7. Etage, somit einen sehr schönen Ausblick.. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig , für uns zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Am Abend waren wir zum Abendessen im Restaurant Thüringer Hof. Jetzt kommt der negative Punkt. Ich hatte ein Fischgericht ,wobei der Fischanteil des Gerichtes gefühlte 5% betragen hat. Mein Junge hatte ein Schnitzel mit Erbsen,diese einfach nur aus der Konserve warm auf dem Teller drapiert wurden. Pommes sehr hell und das Schnitzel ehr durchwachsen. So nun Schluss mit schimpfen. Alles in Allem trotzdem ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer sehr schönen Gegend. Wir überlegen gern wieder zu kommen. Für das leibliche Wohl findet sich sicher eine gute Alternative. Alles in allem zufrieden. Zimmer sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Service im Restaurant in Ordnung. Leider nicht immer so in den Thüringer Stunden. Preis/Leistung für Getränke und Speisen an der Schmerzgrenze. Nun fällt mir nix mehr ein
