Niet gepost Hotel restaurant Verst ligt aan een drukke weg maar in het hotel heb je daar geen last van. Het paradepaardje is de keuken, deze is erg goed! In mijn beleving moeten ze daar ook hun bekendheid van hebben. Het inchecken was erg rommelig omdat dit gebeurde aan de bar tussen het serveren door omdat er geen receptie is. De kamers zijn schoon en erg netjes, wat er in moet staan staat erin. De douchecabine is prima maar een goede schoonmaak beurt met antischimmelmiddel spray is geen overbodige luxe. Heerlijk geslapen op een boxspring bed met een goede stevige kussen. Wat betreft het eten, het begon met 3 stukjes vers gebakken Ciabatta met een zelfgemaakte kruidencrème, ook kreeg ik een heerlijke amuse bestaande uit een groentecrème soep. Het hoofdgerecht was een heerlijke kalfsbäckchen, ik moet eerlijk zijn ik weet niet precies wat het was maar het smaakte fenomenaal en super mals met een heerlijke portjus. Hierbij dronk ik een uitstekende Spätburgunder. Nu ga ik het hebben over het ontbijt, je zou zeggen met zo'n fantastische keuken dat het ontbijt ook groots zou zijn. Helaas dit was niet het geval, heb nog nooit zo'n sober ontbijt gehad. Ik moest zelf op zoek naar de koffie. De keuze van het brood was reuze, 2 sneetjes zuurdesembrood, 1 sneetje roggebrood en plusminus 10 Duitse harde bolletjes. Het beleg was redelijk standaard. Ik moet inderdaad niet zeuren, maar gezien het niveau van de keuken had ik meer verwacht. Conclusie, ben je op doorreis of je houd van lekker eten en je stelt niet teveel eisen aan een hotel of ontbijt dan is dit adres een prima keus.

A very nice place to recover

We chose the hostel for internight stay at a long car trip. The cheap accommodation price was crucial for the choice. Friendly reception. The reception and the room furniture are made of wooden boards. concrete foot floor. The room is quite carous and not particularly attractive. However, everything was top clean. We had a very spacious bathroom with all the facilities for wheelchair drivers. Between reception and the rooms is a kind of lounge where you can - if you want - work well with the laptop. Breakfast was OK - the selection and quality was appropriate to the cheap night price.
