Awful check in a large queue and the self check in not working staff seemed overwhelmed some people came back with wrong room requirements despite being in front I waited nearly an hour the lady on reception could only say its my first day back, we are very busy etc. Room was good but again no bar, no offer to book dinner or breakfast the dining area always seems to be roped off I was going to try breakfast but found people complaining again in the reception area so I just left. I have stayed here many times mainly for the very favourable room rates but the service is so bad I wont be booking again. Parking charge is also a put off.

Unfortunately the hotel was disappointing. The rooms were far too hot with no working air con and windows could not be opened. The air vent was noisy all night, bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Room was dusty with cobwebs on walls and dust on skirting boards. Bathroom door lock didn't work. Extra charge for parking. However, The breakfast was great, fresh and lots of choice and regularly being topped up. Would not stay in the hotel again or recommend.

Great hotel. Friendly staff that were very attentive. Very Clean and inviting. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. Free WiFi available to you if you want it. Perfect location for walking around Wrexham. We stayed there to see a Wrexham match, less than a 5 minute walk.

We’ve just left after a great 2 night stay here. Everything was great especially the majority of staff, who were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. It was a very busy football and Easter weekend but we felt the staff worked hard to please the customers. The male manager was particularly helpful with placing the 6 of us together and also assisting us very patiently when one of the party had misplaced something. We ate there both nights and food was very good. All in all great value for money. It’s always the staff that makes the difference to these types of stays. Well done Team Wrexham ❤️

I rang and asked if we could do early check in, the woman on the phone said yes come at 1… so we parked our car and went to walk through an open door and some miserable woman shouted to us “this is a fire door” and said we couldn’t walk through. I walked around to the entrance and she said what can I do for you. I said we’ve been told to come at 1 for early check in, she said absolutely no chance so I tried to explain we’d be told we could and she said no 3pm onwards. So we went out, went to the football game and arrived at the hotel about 10 mins after full time. The queue was horrific. It took around an hour to check in. Me and my friend went to the “bar” to get us all a drink and it was literally a man stood next to a fridge, that took a while to get served and by this point we was all aggy because we was thirsty. Eventually got drinks and got in our rooms, went out for the evening, I got back and no usb sockets worked? I went downstairs and said our sockets don’t work, he said there’s nothing I can do about it tonight I said well can you move us rooms he said no we’re fully booked… so that was that. He did offer me a plug which didn’t work, so we charged our phones in car for as long as we could without draining battery. We paid for breakfast on booking, went down at 8.30am ish and the staff memeber said we’re fully booked for breakfast, I said we’ve already paid? He said you’re looking about an hour wait?! so I asked to have a refund and we’ll go elsewhere, the member of staff said yes although it’ll be in your bank in a few days. Overall very disappointed. You could tell the staff didn’t want to be there and with the chaos of checking in and long waits to be served/eat breakfast, we would not stay again. We’ve stayed in many premier inns before and this has to be the worst stay we’ve ever had.

You always know what you're going to get when you stay at a Premier Inn, but the staff at Wrexham add an addition sparkle - I felt so welcome and appreciated. Great location too being next to the railway station and close to the football stadium. I look forward to returning soon!

Arrived late at hotel and just wanted to go to bed. Had a shower and was just about to get into my bed when I noticed a dirty mark on the pillow, on checking the other pillow I discovered it was soiled, as were the bed sheets. Absolutely horrified, I got dressed and immediately went to reception with the worst of the soiled pillows. To be fair the man at the reception desk lept into action. Came to the room, *****ped the whole bed down, went to get some new bed linnen and changed the bed. He was very appologetic and conserned, and offered me a refund on my breakfast, but said I would have to go through official channels to get a full refund, which I have done and am still waiting for a responce 10 days on! If it hadn’t been for the service I got from reception this would have been a 1 star review. The fact I am still waiting for a responce from their head office is totally disgusting.

Perfect location for William Aston Hall to attend a performance. Excellent value for money, very comfortable & clean & plenty of room for parking. Only ate breakfast, which was fine, but could have been a lot hotter. I would return.
