Daiwa Roynet Hotel Oita

Very cheap due to the off season, clean and has enough to have a good sleep and rest

Great hotel. Room is big as compared with others. Clean too! Around 10 mins walk from oita station. Love the surrounding areas. It's an arts heritage place. There is a Aaf just behind the hotel! A Lawson is just downstairs! Some eateries near the place. I use this as a base to visit yufuin and Beppu! Will love to stay here again when I visit Oita.

Daily amenities available at lobby. Room is spacious and comes with massage chair and air purifier👍 parking for guest is 800yen. 15-20mins walk to Donki store and there is a Lawson convenient store downstairs. All is good.

I stayed for 2 nights in early Jan 2025. The hotel was conveniently located at about 15 minutes walk from Oita station, and close to many shops, F&B outlets and also the castle ruins attraction. On the ground floor, there is also a cafe/eatery with pleasant staff that served simple yet delightful breakfast, as well as a Lawson convenience shop. The room was typical Japanese room, clean and decent. There was no form of cleaning provided, including any change of towels, for my room.

Room were ok clean and not that small. Convenient Stores are next door, breakfast were good. No smoking area and it needs to be a few hundred metres walk to was a bit frustate for those who need. If room needed to be cleaned, you need to put the sign in front of your door. Clean and change towel isn't default - they mentioned this as norm in japan but other seems not to be. I arrived the hotel a little late the parking lot at the hotel were full needs to go up to the front desk and get the map and it's like 5 mins walk from the hotel is a little struggling. The other day tho I got the parking at hotel makes it much more convenient. You might wanna arrive a little early especially on the first night.

Its a 14 minutes walk from the train station.

Good choice again in Oita, we have stayed here for two days and it was well served

There were hair found on the ground of the room, but the buffet breakfast was good
