Cleanliness is so-so, parking is free

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly at reception and in the breakfast room. We attended the NYE event and although I had requested to be seated with friends, this was not the case and we had to move tables and chairs around. The buffet food was ok although I think there should have been more set out as I queued for 40 minutes to get food. We were also amazed to be told, by a member of staff, that we could only have one piece of cake. At £50 per ticket we found this disappointing.

Lovely renovated room, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in that area again.

Room was comfortable, bathroom was dirty with dried toothpaste left on the sink. Service in the bar was awful. It was like the chef didn't know what was on the menu, starter was wrong. Main was wrong, when they eventually delivered a "pie" it was in a bowl with a layer of uncooked pastry and a slice of cheese on top.

Generally fine nice room but annoyingly no hair dryer (another guest in reception same problem). Dinner was pretty grim chicken Katsu curry barely any sauce and big chunks of undercooked peppers.

This was my third stay in last year at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely clean rooms and comfortable too. I will be staying here again.

Stay was very comfortable, the receptionist was extremely helpful. Only couple of complaints, it was being decorated outside my room and the plastic sheeting they had put down was very noisy in the morning as people walked by. My room was directly above reception and the outside lighting coming through the window was too bright even with the curtains closed. It was like I had the bedroom light on.

Really decent hotel for the price. Amazing buffet breakfast, good choice for everyone. Restaurant and separate bar area. Room was well equipped, cosy and the beds huge.

The room is big enough, but the washbasin is too small to fit a cosmetic bag The towel rack in the bathroom is hot, so you don’t have to worry about wet towels, and it’s easy to hang some small things on it to dry The hotel facilities are relatively new, the parking lot is free, and there are not many parking spaces, but there are not many guests, so they can park their cars. Next to the hotel in a yard is the restaurant, it tastes good Will continue to stay if there is a chance

Very comfortable, quiet and clean room. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a good place to base with convenient access to the motorway system. I would stay there again. No hesitation.
