Hotels near Effe 3 S.r.l., Olgiate Comasco

I was on a Northern Italy Lake Tour with my mom and best friend with 25 other people. This hotel was the second stop of our trip. The travel company selected the hotels, so we were at the mercy of where they put us. If you like rock hard beds, wafer thin pillows, scratchy rough sheets, semi clean rooms, abrasive and rude staff, then this is a place for you! The two stars are for excellent wifi connection and speed and friendly housekeeping staff. This is clearly a very busy hotel. Every time we went through the lobby there were groups checking in. The sign said the air conditioning in the hotel would be on until 10/22, and we checked out before the 22nd and it was never on. Rooms were stuffy and hot. We had to ask about opening the window, which we had to sign a waiver (understandable - there are no screens). Each bed had one very thin pillow. When we asked for 3 more (one for each in the room) the look of dismay and surprise from the person at the front desk was almost comical. The fridge in the room was stocked daily, but never was cold enough to even chill the bottles. We had the same waiter two nights and he was miserable, unfriendly, inattentive and just down right rude. I tried to be friendly to see if it would help - and it didn’t. When asking for directions at the front desk the person seemed annoyed that we asked, was very curt and snotty. Even when looking at other staff they all looked miserable - no one smiled. At least the housekeeping ladies were pleasant and greeted you with good morning and a smile. Not an overly welcoming experience and I couldn’t wait to check out and continue on our trip. If I was to come back, I certainly would not book to stay here.

The hotel is very good, but we cost to get on train (if you go in car is quite easy). We had some problem when we arrived but the employees were very friendly and they resolved it.

Stayed here for 2 nights, for the price the room is great, comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Bathroom is fine, the shower is quite small so bear this in mind. Breakfast was great, lots of sweet options like pastries, tarts etc. Location was 5 minutes or less from the train station so very convenient and 5-10 mins from the ticket place to get the ferry to Bellagio. Overall the hotel was perfect for what wanted and great value for the price.

Good hostel, near a supermarket and convenient location with the railway station. A bit overshadowed that my room was on the first floor with a window to the courtyard, it was pretty noisy even with earplugs ... And a rather modest breakfast compared to hostels for the same price. But the friendliness of the staff and convenient location sweetened these inconveniences.

An okay hotel, really polite staff location is not the best but you have 2 supermarkets just in front of the hotel, But IS TOO FAR FROM THE LAKES. the room are okay really plain and don't expect anything else, NO TEA/ COFFEE SOAP/ ANY EXTRA to make a nice welcome. The majority of food that is offered is, gluten, lactose free, vegan. But some people don't like it and there's not many other choices. Too much sweet food, not much savoury and please do not order the eggs. Also breakfast it's from 7 to 9:30 and if you for e.g. arrive at 8 30/9 most of the food is finished and it doesn't get replaced. If you like coffe ask for a double or even triple as it tastes like water. Overall is not bad but for that price you can find much better.

Very good accommodation! Polite and helpful staff. I would like to give more than 10/10 if I could. Every detail was thought out and rooms have everything for having a restful stay for a night after a long journey as we had and for a longer stay too…. Comfortable beds, slippers in the bathroom very good breakfast….everything ! We definitely will choose this hotel again during our next drive to Italy.

Hotel moderno, bien situado a 5 minutos del centro de Varese en una zona residencial. Instalaciones muy buenas, habitaciones amplias y cómodas, muy bien desayuno. No le pongo 5 estrellas por la falta de detalles que harían que el hotel fuera perfecto (por ej. Hay que pagar 3 euros para recibir una toalla para la piscina, que por cierto podía tener algún tipo de decoración de jardín, hay máquinas muy buenas en el gimnasio pero no hay bicicleta, etc.)

It's a fairytale! It took me a lot to decide if to take the risk to travel or not. I'm glad I did take the risk! This is the first holiday when I don't check anything about the place I was going to stay, surrounding area not at all, just wanted to escape London for a bit. From far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The hotel looks like a museum, incredibly amazing, surprises didn't chased to happen, they have a pool, tennis court, soccer court so many facilities, it's crazy. The room I've stayed, stunning,the view from the balcony took my breath away. It's quite, it's beautiful, it's perfect! Hotel stuff, they couldn't do any better than this, friendly, willing to assist whenever necessary, I felt like home! I've even got an early check in 🤗.Thank you Domenico, Monica, Andrea, Manpreet and everyone else!!! For anyone looking to escape the madness from a busy city like London let's say, this is the best place to be! P.S. make sure you bring mosquitoes spray, as I've mentioned I haven't done any inquiries before coming so, mosquitoes attack wasn't fun at all. I was looking forward to have dinner in the outdoors restaurant which ended up being a nightmare, but it was entirely my fault, the hotel is located on a hill, surrendered by trees obviously you'll have to deal with mosquitoes. The room is very good, the room is facing the lake, the scenery is very good, but unfortunately there is no time. The most dissatisfied is the front desk clerk. I feel unfriendly to the Chinese and the tone is really hard. Is this a five-star waiter? ?
