Please please ignore negative reviews. As in our opinion these people did not stop at this hotel. My wife and I have just comeback after a months stay it was the best hotel we have stayed at in Turkey in 24 years. Everything was perfect - Room extremely comfortable. Food delicious. Entertainment every night (except Sunday/ but Sunday dinner made up for this ). Staff extremely accommodating ,friendly and attentive .Cleanliness exceptional. We intend to book again for May 2025 in the next couple of days.Well done Telmessos and thank you for a fantastic holiday.Hopefully see you all again next year.

Telmessos isn’t a terrible hotel, it just isn’t for us. If I’d have read a review like ours before we booked, frankly, we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel. This is fundamentally down to 2 reasons: 1) it’s described as ‘Adults only’ when in fact it should say ‘Adults of a certain age’ which isn’t bad, it just sets the scene for what you should expect. We’ve been here for 4 days and I’ve counted around 8 people younger than me… and I’m 51. This obviously isn’t an issue for the vast majority of the people here and that’s ok. Additionally, the atmosphere is probably best described as ‘robust’ (said respectfully) 2) The food is bad. Really, really bad. There’s no way to get around it - from breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, coffee, ‘fruit juice’ - it’s all terrible. The choice of things they cook is also a mystery. If you’re expecting simple Turkish fare, forget it - From memory, at no point did the ‘chef area’ produce anything other than deep fried food for the 4 days we were here. That’s before we get into the food under the cloches which were best described as unidentifiable. On Sunday, we were treated to a traditional Chicken Sunday Roast and that’s ok - I suspect it’s what the clientele expect. Just not for us. Onto the less bad bits: The room was ok. We were in 138 had no problem with smell as mentioned elsewhere. It was clean, the shower was ok, the bed was firm and the balcony could easily accommodate the 2 of us. It was tired in places (the sink for example) but as I said, it was ok. The staff are genuinely lovely and Victor seems to be a lovely guy. The pool area, again, is ok. The sun beds are crammed in but it’s clean and the pool is nice. So, in summary? As I said, it’s not a bad place, just not for us. Make sure you understand what you’re getting though by reading the review above. I didn’t think it was particularly cheap and it doesn’t reflect the price in my opinion. Some people appear to love it though - just look at the other reviews.

Well, where do I start with this one! I’ve been coming to the fethiye area for over 15years and stayed at many different hotels but this has to be probably the worst. The hotel is extremely clicky due to the many returning British customers. They sit around in groups all day drinking and behaving like very loud children. One day I experienced a guest with silly glasses on with an inflatable zimmer frame warring a nappy hobbling across the pool area to his gaggle of friends who thought he was so funny, they where in fits of laughter. To me these type of over weight tattooed brits that are giving this hotel 5stars reviews. The rooms are becoming very dated with limited drawer and hanging space. Beds extremely hard and the pillows need to be replaced. The tv had 1 British channel (father brown). On arrival you get 2small bottles of water , make it last because you won’t get any more unless you pay for it. The safe is also chargeable £20 for the 11days we was there, considering it’s supposed to be a 4star all inclusive it isn’t. Typical sunbed wars at 6.30 every morning too. The food was low quality too but the curry’s and the chilli chicken was good. Staff very quick in removing your plates too, on more than one occasion I had my half finished drink removed. It’s been some time since I was at Hisaronu but how things have changed. The place is terrible, overflow bins everywhere with cats eating out of them and piles of building materials just dumped at the side of the road. To sum up, not the best of hotels and definitely not the best of resorts. I really feel that the Telmessos select hotel definitely needs to press the reset button. Will definitely not be returning nor to the area too.

Stayed here for a fortnight From 11th may and it’s a hidden gem, beautiful adults only hotel with superb staff and ultra friendly house maids. Being a celiac I was nervous of what I could eat, but the restaurant manager made sure I could eat safely, even a separate fryer. Victor the gaffa (zaffa) was so friendly I cannot recommend this hotel enough absolutely awesome

Once again, a nice stay. Nice room liked the balcony was big enough for us, plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Thanks to all the staff within the hotel, keep up the good work, and all have a good season. Food Plenty and nice. See you all again in October.

The hotel is very much all inclusive, breakfast starts at 7 finishes at 10, at 10 you can get toasted sandwhiches, eggs on toast and various other things from the grill area until mid day. Lunch starts at 12.30 til 2, ice cream is 3 until 3.45. Then they do cooked to order burgers chips 2-5 and pizza is 4-5 cooked to order. Then you can have cakes at 5. Dinner is 7-9pm then there is night soup 11.30-12.pm. The food is amazing here so I think Graham V stayed somewhere else or walked round with his eyes closed. Hotel and staff are all brilliant. The hotel might not be to everyone’s taste but at least give a true review. I’m here now so can verify this.

Okay, so I’m going to try my hardest to not be the typical Brit that just focuses on the negative things BUT that being said, there is room for improvement at the telmessos. All relatively small things that could really change peoples views. We are a 32 year old couple, who love to have fun and make memories so this hotel on paper isn’t for us… We arrived early hours of the Monday morning to no one on reception. Finally got our room key, bag’s carried to our room (then accidentally locked out said room). We were in block 3 of 3, the furthest away meaning the most steps or slopes to get to it (which isn’t ideal for anyone bad on their feet/legs). Walking in, the room was clean, spacious bathroom. But storage space ie drawers, none existent. We ended up leaving one case opened on the (very pointless) sofa that not all rooms have as storage and all my make up and hair bits on the footstool with second suitcase shoved under the table next to fridge. The balcony… if you are someone who likes to sit outside, chill, smoke, few drinks, you’ll be out there alone. As 2 people, especially of a bigger size will struggle to relax out there comfortably. Bed made daily and towels changed every 3 days. Aircon isn’t the quietest but didn’t bother us. The facilities/pool area/entertainment The information sheet handed to us on day one stated slides were on 11-12 and 4-5. Day one they came on for around 20mins at 1120 then that was it. There is a guy from the spa who comes round daily selling you packages and I made a deal with him that if he got the slides on twice a day as per the info sheet, I’d book his spa. Of course he did…. The music around the pool can be heard up near bar, but not near slides or jacuzzi so we brought our own speaker down. On last day, the speakers suddenly went louder so it could be heard. Other than the slides, our own lilo and volleyball, daytime entertainment doesn’t exist (which for us lets it down). There’s slides for racing, a pool table for competitions plus a dart board. It doesn’t have to be all singing all dancing all day, but something would help the days go by. There is a bar and seating area up in reception that wasn’t used/opened the whole time we was here and from listening to others, never gets used. And we think it’s a total waste. This is due to nighttime entertainment with only 4 spotlights for the stage aka the poolside, making the seating area dark and limited so playing cards or anything else is near impossible. Food/drinks Breakfast… not great. No meat selection but randomly one day there was half jacket potatoes and another day a tray of cauliflower and carrots. There is a cooking station for eggs and omelettes but they are not shy with oil usage which ruins the taste. Bread for toasting is very thick with little flavour. Pancakes are also available but with sugar or Nutella as toppings and they are the thicker style pancakes too. Dinner/Lunch… plenty of salad, soups, breads and desserts, but with these ther

Went with another couple for a week to this hotel with TUI who advertised it as an all inclusive trust me this is not the case it’s full board with free local drinks there is set times when you can eat no snacks between times allocated so if you miss breakfast you have to wait till lunch on restaurant opening so definitely not A I .When I say the food is not any better than average I’m doing it a favour I never knew there was so many ways of cooking chicken if chickens not your thing then hard luck it really is very average food selection basically the same every day.We arrived with our partners who have disability problems after emailing to request a suitable room there’s 3blocks we were in block 2which meant climbing 18steep stairs every time we left our room asked to be moved an was told hotel was full 78rooms an roughly 20people max in hotel for first few days .There seems to be a hardcore following of guests go every year an talking to a few management give them there same rooms every year.Lets now get to the room very small other people have commented about the beds they really are so uncomfortable and as for the balcony ha ha it’s a joke we were in resort for a wedding an booked this way back last year rather than wait an paid a lot of money for this hotel to say we were dissatisfied is an understatement. The staff are nice and helpful as people have commented but don’t put your cutlery down or you lose your dinner I’m not kidding it’s scary they watch over you an swoop to take the plates away at first we found it funny but it’s as soon as they can get you out the restaurant the quicker the better Also you get ice cream between 3and3.30 each day it was really funny watching grown adults standing in line like naughty kids waiting for there tiny wee cone .I’ve genuinely tried to be honest but save your money just don’t go here there’s far better ways to spend your money

This hotel was everything we hoped it would be. A great relaxing stay at the Telmessos Select. Getting a sunbeds were not a problem and where very comfortable. We normally chilled out in the sun shade huts. The food was lovely and there was plenty of freshly cooked options. There was always barbecue and chicken cooked to order. The drinks menu had lots of options. The alcoholic drinks tasted great to me and the coffee was nice and strong. I would definitely recommend the activities that were available. If you walk to the shops in Hisaronu you can book boat trips and other adventures. We did the 12 islands boat trip, the Oludeniz boat trip as well as horse riding, Fethiye market and ghost town. These days out were the highlight of our holiday and are very recommend. We booked all our trips through McTurk Travel. Hisaronu is a lovely area, more relaxed than Marmaris with great shops and restaurants.

Nice small hotel. Great for any age of adult. Ideal location 5 mins walk into town. Good selection of drinks. Food varied and good vegetarian selection. Restaurant manager was awesome and always made sure I had a vegetarian meal. Victor the manager is very hands on and is a lovely guy. Entertainment was low key but great fun. Rooms great but balcony small. Great holiday and hope to return soon. All the staff are very friendly. Turkish spa on site, spa manager great guy. Hubby had a Turkish bath and really enjoyed it.

The hotel is in a great location, food choice is great especially bbq at night drinks are ok I didn’t like the “”Efes “” draft beer ? 🤔 so I had soft drinks or the cocktail red sunset I think it was when available in the AI, rooms/ balconies are small but clean ( but you only sleep and shower in there) so it was sufficient , the staff are fantastic very friendly and funny especially the bar staff they all work extremely had , I had a full body Bali medical massage at the hotel which was great I would recommend that .The entertainment was good they even got my hubby up belly dancing , the sun beds are comfy but you have to be up early to get 1 and when on holiday the last thing you want to do is set your alarm to get a flaming sun bed 😡 . We went on a boat trip which the hotel advertised it was a fab day a smallish boat with lunch included I would recommend that.
