Omihachiman & Azuchi 1 night 2 day We used it for a solo trip. It was ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ (ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ) and the room ｻｲｽﾞ:17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 135cm. Even if you have a big luggage, you can open and close in the room (see attached photo). Because ﾎﾃﾙ is near the station, it is convenient for travelers in the sense of leaving your luggage and walking around Omihachiman. However, if you stay on the JR Biwako line side, the railway ﾏﾆｱ can see the JR running in front of you. It may be fun, but if you don't, you may be worried about the sound of the freight train running in the middle of the night. (If you care about the sound, you may be better to stay in a room facing the north.) The hotel is located by the lake, and you can take a free shuttle bus at the north exit of JR Station. You need to make an appointment in advance. I stayed for 3 nights, but the new corona countermeasure was also firm and I was able to rest assured. Convenience stores (30 seconds walk) are very close from the station (one minute walk). The ion is also on the other side of the station, but I was able to go immediately by the free passage. I thought it was very convenient as a base for sightseeing in the Hudong region.

The rooms (and bathroom) were small. We were happy we only had our backpack with us and that our luggage was sent to the next hotel. As a family of four, we were hosted in two separate rooms (without connectiing doors). There are free soft-drinks, tea and coffee near the reception for free. There were as well massage chairs available for free. The breakfast was decent.

I really wanted to stay in Kyoto City for sightseeing in Kyoto the next day, but it was a hotel that I found far away to Omihachiman city because the accommodation cost was unbelievable. It is one by train to Kyoto, so it is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto, and of course, you can also sightseeing in Omihachiman, so I think it is not a bad choice. It is the decisive choice of good word of mouth evaluation. It was a higher price setting than it looked, but I felt that the season was seasonal, so I couldn't do it. The next day was scheduled to check out early in the morning, so it is one of the reasons for the choice that I wanted to go as cheap as possible.
