Natural Hot Spring Onomichi Minato Kan Reviews

From the station, walk all the way through Onomichi's shopping district, and it's located on the national highway on your left, past the Lawson near the base station of the Senkoji Ropeway, near the parking lot. I ended up passing it by a little. The building looks like a renovated private home or store(?). I was surprised at how much larger the room was than I expected. They offered free water and other small items like ice cream, but they only had time until 8:00 PM, so I was able to get some water and take it back to my room just in time. The next day, they were able to store my luggage for me when I went up the Senkoji Ropeway, which was very helpful.

There was a room available, so I was able to get a larger room than I had reserved. There was also a hot spring, so I was able to relax and relieve the fatigue of my trip, which was great.

I was surprised that there was no toilet in the room, but it was clean and the toilets were separate for men and women, so it was easy to use. The breakfast was more geared towards women, but it was delicious. There is also a hot spring, so it's great value for the price!

This is a small hotel on the outskirts of the shopping district. It's about a 10-minute walk from Onomichi Station, and there's an arcade in the shopping district so you won't get wet in the rain. The ropeway station is also about a 5-minute walk away, so it's a great base for sightseeing, like strolling along Neko no Hosomichi. There was a massage machine in the room, which was great for my tired body after walking. The room was small and clean, and in addition to the hot spring, the large communal bath also had a dry sauna and cold bath. There was a shampoo bar near the front desk, so women in particular could enjoy choosing their favorite shampoo scent. It's open until 8pm, but the cafe space has a nice service where you can enjoy drinks and ice cream. Reservations are required, but breakfast is recommended. The white curry was delicious.
