Ideal structure for those who want to relax and have a holiday in a truly quiet, elegant and pleasant place.
Below I will try to give a brief summary of what the property offered us during our stay.
ROOM:
our room was the "villa lagoon" type room. They are rooms on the side where the sun rises built directly on the water. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a terrace for the exclusive use of the room and with ladders for direct access to the sea, as per the attached photos. Bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet. In the room there is also a minibar with soft drinks (offered if booked with an all-inclusive formula) and alcohol, a coffee machine and a kettle.
RESTAURANT:
In the main restaurant breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack during tea time and dinner are served. Everything is buffet style. The buffets are very large and varied in such a way as to satisfy all tastes.
During the various days of the week, at dinner, a "theme" of the dinner is proposed. We happened to eat at the Italian, Maldivian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Moroccan and Indian evening.
BEACH:
if you want you can also go to the beach and take advantage of the umbrellas and deckchairs available in several places on the island. Towels to place on the deckchairs are also provided.
BEACH BAR:
on the main beach there is a bar open practically always until after dinner where it is possible to have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you have the all-inclusive formula like we did, you can get many types of drinks and cocktails for free.
EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
the structure also organizes many excursions (almost all for a fee). I think this is the only thing we appreciated less about our stay as we would have liked to have had more excursions available. Furthermore, if they are canceled in case of bad weather you have to rebook (places are always limited) every time.
Activities are then organized on the beach and on the island (but even here they are not always all free).
DEPARTURE LOUNGE:
The structure is also equipped with a departure lounge, complete with showers and bathrooms which you can use on the day of check in in case of an afternoon flight.
SEAPLANE:
The property must be reached via seaplane transfer (not included in the price of the stay) lasting approximately 35 - 40 minutes (if a direct flight, sometimes it also stops at other resorts and takes a little longer).
Therefore, also take this cost into account when booking.
Overall, the evaluation of the structure and our stay remains truly satisfactory and recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Cocoon Maldives. The weather and the food were great. We were in a Lagoon Villa. It was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Our host, Hassaan, was very attentive and was always available to answer our questions. Absolutely recommendable!

Amazing holiday! Staff were friendly and attentive, most especially Riyaz! He tended to our every need. My husband had a pre-existing ankle injury which flared up during the visit, Riyaz ferried us to and from the restaurant and wherever we wished to go so that my husband didn’t have to walk on the ankle. The room was great and very clean! Entertainment and excursions were also very good. I would highly recommend Cocoon Maldives!

We have just returned from a week holiday in Cocoon and what a week! Everything is fantastic at this resort! Staff: The entire staff is extremely, extremely polite but friendly at the same time. Special thanks to Hassaan who looked after us throughout our entire stay and gave us the best recommendations. He was just a message away from us the whole time! Thank you, Hassaan, for making our holiday truly special! Accommodation: We chose an overwater villa / Lagoon suite and it was incredible. Very clean, very spacious, with everything we needed. We went for plain AI therefore only non-alcoholic drinks were included free of charge in our mini bar but that was just fine. Unbelievable but true: cleaning services, including change of the towels and replenishing the minibar were done twice a day. Sea/ beach/island: The pictures are true! Incredible blue water and white sand. Daily snorkeling activities during which we had the opportunity to see thousands of colorful fishes, corals, turtles and baby shark. And stingray, our dearest surprise! While the snorkeling around over water villa was great the best snorkeling is to be done on the other side of the island near the Kurum bar. Although the island is not big, we managed to achieve an average of 12.000 steps daily. The flora and fauna within the island are spectacular. Make time for the sunset, best place for pictures is near Kurum bar and you will not regret it. The food: High standard during our entire stay. We definitely can say that OCTOPUS was the best buffet restaurant we have ever experienced. A lot of fish and seafood, sushi, vegetables, but also beef or pork; our preferred desert was a plate of extremely tasteful exotic fruits made. The variety of menu was fantastic, with different themes every evening! Being honeymooners, we received a complementary dining in MANTA restaurant (a la carte). Good food and services, as well. This island resort is fantastic and we would definitely return! You simply can not be disappointed should you decide to choose this resort!

I'm so glad I chose Cocoon Maldives for my honeymoon. It was situated on such a peaceful, serene island and I enjoyed every minute there. The island host, Hassaan, was always a text message away, so we were able to get all the help we needed. It certainly was a week I will remember for the rest of my life. This is DEFINITELY NOT A 5 star resort. A holiday here is very expensive for what you get. We have been to over 15 Maldives islands and this one is the worst value for money we have had. 3 star islands offer just as much. The facilities are average - NOT 5 star. One dated pool and little else. There is a water sports centre but most activities are VERY expensive. In AI you can only use 1 restaurant throughout your stay. Anything else you pay CRAZY money for - a meal on the sandbank is over $600. 2 cans of beer in the room mini bar and a few soft drinks. Everything else you pay for. At the bar AI is very cheap spirits. They did not even have draft beer for a week. We paid 5 star AI prices for small cans of cheap beer. The resort is set up to suit the management and not the customers. Ie there is a bar on the side where the sun sets and they close it before sunset. The island is lovely and the staff are very friendly. Go to a good 3 or 4 star island and save your money. No way would we go back.

It was one of our best vacations ! This place is amazing and sunset is just Wow ! As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Shinaz who was our main contact, he helped us organize our activities and took care of us throughout our stay. And he was incredibly thoughtful and kind. The hotel is very charming, all the people who work there make the a**osphere warm, we had the impression of being at home or at our friends' house. Thanks to the whole team 🌹.

The property is nice and the surroundings are excellent. The quality of food, however, needs to be much better. The fish, chicken, or beef they prepare is usually very hard, dry and salty. It is a matter of the chef's preferences for how to cook not the products themselves, however. A small selection of salads. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the food quality only 5. The snorkeling equipment is of low quality, so it is better to bring your own if someone wants to enjoy observing underwater life. The personnel is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The TV is in the room but with a very very limited number of channels to watch. In a 5 stars resort, it should be the much better selection.
