We’ve been visiting Opatija for years now and we keep coming back to Royal because it is the absolute best out there. Family-like a**osphere and staff, modern lobby and room designs. I encourage you to go and discover this beautiful hotel and I ensure you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! Fabulous sea facing room. Paula at reception was THE most incredible part of the weekend! She was super attentive and made the whole experience that much more special! I have travelled extensively around Europe but have never had such exceptional customer service from hotel staff. She is nothing short of outstanding and definitely needs a promotion 😚😚 She greeted us every time she saw us and went the extra mile each time! I have nothing but good and heart-warming words to tell about the people in this hotel. Setting aside superb location, a breathtaking congress venue and the ambient of the hotel, the biggest role for me play the people there. Every member of the staff was so friendly, communicative and really helpful during the congress. They will make you feel welcome, secure and you will truly have a feeling like you know these people your entire life. Big thank you to two people especially who made sure everything was perfect and were there for anything we asked - Paula and Jan. Hotek Royal felt like a second home. I'll be back for sure, not just for business trips. Thank you all! ❤️‍🔥

Due to our work/life style, we have stayed at dozen of hotels throughout the world. But this was on the top of the list of our best stays/experiences ever! The staff was the nicest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel! They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also managed sudden visit of our kids in such a noble manner, allowing our kids to join us and spend few lovely hours together at the hotel’s beach. Last but not least, the room was very nicely furnished, spotless clean and everything was of a good quality. And the breakfast….the choice and quality was simply superb! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Opatija. Thank you so much, we will definitely come again!

This is a top notch hotel! We didn’t want to leave when it was time. From the moment we checked in we received 5 star service. Our luggage was lost and the whole hotel team did everything they could to help us. Paula was amazing and went way above and beyond! The views were amazing, the breakfast was delicious…this was a 5 star stay for our 10 year anniversary!

This is a wonderful hotel on the Opatija Beach. I had a great room with sea view. The room was cosy. The personnel is very helpful and polite. The service is great. The breakfast was excellent with an enormous selection. You can order a la carte and the omelett was exceptional. If you stay in Opatija I recommend Amadria Hotel Royal.

The hotel has a great location and is really nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you book a room with a sea view, the view can be obstructed by a house in front of the hotel. We were lucky enough to get a room with an unobstructed view (we knew and requested one in advance). Still, there are some things to improve. The breakfast buffet is ok, but the coffee machine is way too slow for the capacity needed. Food is not refrigerated, yogurt, cheese, butter etc remain unrefrigerated for hours. Prices for drinks are unrealistically high compared to other hotels nearby. And it's just Opatija - you pay for everything, even for the deck chair in front of the hotel or the nuts with the drink....
