Radisson Hotel and Suites Zurich

Extremely convenient, very close to the train station, and the area feels very safe.

I booked this hotel rather late, so downtown prices were too high. This place is located between the airport and the city center, offering a reasonable price point. Right outside the hotel, there's a large supermarket and a bus stop, making it convenient to get to the city in about 20 minutes. It also means I don't have to wake up too early for my flight (Zurich Airport can be very busy). The cleanliness was perfectly fine, nothing out of the ordinary, and the sleeping environment was very quiet. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs that seems to be affiliated with the hotel; the food was decent, making it easy to grab a meal. However, the amenities provided might not be comprehensive; for example, you'll need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush (which is often the case in Europe). The hotel's shampoo wasn't great, so if you're particular, it's best to bring your own.
