For our Disneyland trip we used this hotel. When we arrived everyone was very friendly but was a bit disappointed that my only two options for parking was self parking for $25 and valet for $30 per day. As this was our first time going on a proper vacation. Guess I should have read more carefully because I also thought it said breakfast was included like a continental type but no it just says breakfast available and it can get pricey. The food is good though. This hotel is about 9 min away from the Disneyland parking lot which was great. There are stores and restaurants near by. The view is limited and if wanting to have a Disneyland view this is not the place. We were only able to see the tower and a few lights at night. But over all very comfortable, clean and friendly.

Things to Do in Orange, California

Get "a slice of old town charm" when you visit Old Towne Orange. The historic district's idyllic streets are lined with antique dealers, specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants and is often used as a film/TV production shooting location. Old Towne Orange is one of the largest Nationally Registered Historic Districts in California and its well-preserved vintage buildings make for great Kodak moments.

Irvine Regional Park, just 6 miles east of Old Towne Orange, is home to some of Orange, CA's sights. You'll need an entire day in the 491-acre park to try out all of what it has to offer. Horse riding, picnicking, fishing, hiking, and biking are just a few of the activities available. Irvine Regional Park is open daily, from 06:00–18:00 during fall and winter, and from 06:00–21:00 during spring and summer.

The park's main attraction is the Orange County Zoo. Tucked among oak and sycamore groves, the zoo exhibits rescued and abandoned animals in their natural habitats. The animals include black bears, mountain lions, bald eagles, great horned owls, coyotes, and porcupines. Orange County Zoo is open daily from 10:00–15:30 and costs US$2 to enter.
