Hilton Garden Inn Lake Buena Vista/Orlando

one cleaning every two days. One light is broken. Smoking smell in the room.

Poor service. Hidden charges for parking.

It was a solid hotel, but the price and amenities did not much the value of the hotel. The service was solid, and they were mostly attentive. The rooms were clean, but a bit dated. The pool also appears smaller than the pictures advertise.

The staff on site was friendly. But the hotel is run down. The paint in the bathroom was chipped and had rust everywhere. The left sink handle would not budge. And the towels were dirty upon check in. I would not stay here again.

We arrived early in the morning so we tried to see if we can get our room early but they said that check in was at 4pm. Then we come back at 5:45pm I our room was still not ready. We have a different one.

I do not recommend this hotel unless you have a car. I had chosen the hotel as the information for the hotel indicated it was a Disney friends and neighbours hotel and had a free shuttle to all the theme parks. It did not. Only one shuttle, going to Epcot or Universal, neither one our destination and at a weird time. It is also at least a 20 minute walk to any shops or restaurants. In addition, I was under the impression per website information on the hotel that breakfast was included. It was not. The first night of our stay we wanted to use the bathtub. No plug for the tub. Called the front desk. Not helpful at all, after two calls and no response we wound up using a k cup as a plug. Water does not get hot and the water pressure is not good. I definitely would not recommend this hotel and will book somewhere else next time.

The young man who helped us check in and checked on us throughout our stay was so pleasant and respectful. He helped make our stay very enjoyable. As very as the lady who was our waitress for breakfast. She was kind and attentive to us. Thank you!
