Travelodge by Wyndham Orlando / Heart of International Drive

I've been in America for a long time, more than 10 years. I live in San Francisco, California, and I've never stayed in a hotel as bad as this one. It's horrible, so moldy, it's awful that I couldn't stay in the hotel on the second day and I'm going to send them an email to get a refund.

I would say this would be a solo traveler's dream to be at this location. It's perfect if you want to be in reachable access towards Downtown, Tourism, Convention centers, Airport and near the Theme Parks. Breakfast is minimal to lite snacks. Minimal cable TV. The only issue is the flooring is old dirty looking needs polishing. Not to impress a date or bring kids to.

It’s a good location to stay for Universal Studios. Because we don’t have to stay all day in the hotel. The hotel is just 6$ by uber to go to Universal Studios. Compare with the price is okay, don’t expect anything from them. Cleanliness is the worst, we can’t walk without shoes in the room but bed sheets and towels are okay. They have 24/7 front desk but you have to call them because staff is not there.

DO NOT STAY HERE – ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I was charged $436.39 CAD for a one-night stay, even though the advertised daily rate was supposed to be around $65 – a complete scam. First off, the photos online are a LIE. The reality is nothing like what they show. When I walked in, the lobby stunk of cigarette smoke, despite the hotel claiming to be "100% smoke-free." and things only went downhill from there. The room was disgusting: Cracked floors everywhere, from the bed area to the bathroom, and even inside the shower, with visible mold, making it clear they don’t maintain basic hygiene standards. I literally cut my foot on the sharp edges of broken tiles while walking. The cleanliness was appalling I wiped the floor with a tissue, and it turned completely black - That’s how filthy it was. The towels had BLOOD STAINS, and the bedding had brown and black stains — completely unacceptable and unsanitary. We stayed only 6 hours before we had to check out at 6AM because I couldn’t bear staying another minute. Now, the real kicker: I tried reaching out to the manager multiple times over 3 weeks to address these issues, and NOTHING. No response. Then, after the help of Trip.com, I finally heard back — just to be told there would be no refund or compensation. Worst customer service I've ever encountered. This hotel is a total scam – dangerous, filthy, and run by people who couldn’t care less about their guests. Save yourself the trouble — DO NOT STAY HERE.

Its motel, not a hotel. You have to pay extra, even you pre-paid. Company car got scratched at their parking lot, they not even want to share the footage to claim insurance.

Bed are very comfortable I recommend for a nice quiet night sleep!

I love my stay here! My clean was clean, food was delish, and location is superb! It's near Uuniversal Studios

So the receptionist was awesome.  Though the first room was not clean, and the beds were obviously slept in he did find us another one. Besides him this hotel sucks. Yes, of course most hotels require. A deposit fee, but this one kept it trying to say that I won’t get my deposit back because they say I checked out late which I did not. The most frustrating part about that is nowhere in the policies. Does it say they can keep my money if I check out late. Be careful with your deposit.
