The hotel was nice and the property was beautiful. We just had a bad stay. Pulling up to check in the vallet was unhelpful and rude. While checking in the employee forgot to give us keys to our 2nd room but caught us before we left. He showed us where we were on the map, when we had questions about the pools closest to our room or the map his response was I don't know (He should have asked to find out). None of the resort amenities we explained or offered. We got to our room, went to the pool only to find that it closed early for reasons we still don't know. Pool was a bust so we tried out the hot tub by our room only to find no towels were available and zero pool towles are available in the rooms.
The next morning before 9am house keeping was banging on our door and ENTERED without permission before we made it out of bed and to the door. Not a good redemption from the night before. At checkout we spoke to the manager James he listened and assured us the issues would be addressed. He said he would look into comping us for the amenities we paid for and did not get. He apologized for house keeping as well. At 12:14 pm check out day I got a text from the resort asking if I was ready to check out even after we were in the front lobby checking out in person that morning. We never heard from the manager or resort about our issues. They told us what we wanted to hear and got us out the door. Beautiful property, bad service experience.
