El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort

The ground was beautiful and so was the location in scenery. Front desk was amazing and the rest of the staff. The rooms however, was extremely outdated. We switched rooms because the first one smelled “old.” The second room didn’t smell as bad but it was definitely still there. The restaurant had great service and food was delicious though.

Front desk not helpful, discourteous. Possible short staff throughout the hotel. Room wasn’t ready . Housekeeping behind on cleaning rooms. Not enough parking forced to used valet.( although valet attendants very helpful and attentive) resort Accommodations very dated ( I believe they’re planning on renovating) . The pool area and overall grounds were inviting. The shop attendants very pleasant, bartender very good and informative. The coffee shop needs more attendants to be more efficient and timely. Overall , I wouldn’t stay there again.

A very nice place but the bedrooms are due for major updates. I can't remember the last time I stayed at a resort where the bathroom still had an old-fashioned bathtub with a cloth shower curtain. Aside from that, the pool area was great, and you couldn't ask for a better location. The food, service and drinks at the bar were excellent.

The beds were not for us or for our liking. Room was good, but to much dust in certain arras of the carpet.

Property is adequate. Great layout. Nice pool area especially for kids. That said. It’s a bit run down overall.

The bathroom needs to be updated. The tub was painted and it was peeling. The room needed to be vacuumed better. The grounds were beautiful. Great ambiance

Stayed with my daughter (10 years old) and it was our 1st time at El Conquistador - very impressed! Rooms were good, and we had very easy access to the pools. My daughter enjoyed the slide pool immensely, and the servers in the pool area were outstanding. Special shout out to JT, who went above and beyond in customer service! The breakfast was very good, and the stables on property were a highlight of our stay - the Tattered Stables folks were great, and an asset to the resort. Anywhere on property we wanted to go we just went to lobby, and asked for a ride, and off we went! Highly recommend, great job to all at the El Conquistador - well done!

The setting is what makes this resort standout. Beautiful surrounds, easy access to Catalina State park. Food, rooms and overall service was average

The property was beautiful and clean.There was one night our neighbors were a little roudy but the pool area was nice and the bar as well , the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable.
