In ogni caso, abbiamo dormito molto bene. ENGLISH: we stayed in this hotel for a whole weekend (Friday till Sunday) in mid October. The hotel is located in Vacciano di Amego, a small town facing the Orta Lake. It takes just 5 mins to reach Orta if you go by car (20 min If you walk). The view from the room is breathtaking (when you book you're room you can choose a room with a view over the lake). The room is a bit old-fashioned, but still provided with all comforts (TV, bed, closet, nightstands, armchair), while the bathroom must have been renovated lately. Anyway, we slept tight. The only drawback is the WiFi, which does not work very well... Breakfast is served in the dining room, where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and includes croissant, jams, Nutella, butter, rusks, coffee, orange juice, tea and in addiction you can ask for a platter of cold cuts, cheese and scrambled eggs and for a piece of cake. We dined at the restaurant twice and both meals were delicious! They offer piedmontese specialities such as agnolotti (meat ravioli), vitel tonné (calf slices with a tuna and capers sauce) and bonnet (some sort of a chocolate pudding). Very good quality-price ratio! The staff is very kind, welcoming and professional. We think that they could reach the third star with very little effort!
