I'd rate the cleanliness a 4 instead of 5 due to the hotel's age and the diverse group of travelers. Despite this, it's generally clean, showcasing Japan Quality.
The location might not be as ideal for some, but its proximity to Nankai Line, JR line, Osaka Metro subway, Hankai Line, and nearby bus stops makes it perfect for me. Although situated in Nishinari with homeless people, being in Japan, it doesn't bother me. I prefer this over Namba or Shinsaibash area.
The service is consistently excellent, and despite being a budget hotel, you won't feel like you're compromising on quality.
I'd give the amenities a 6 out of 5 – they're comprehensive, from kitchenware to spa, shower, and free morning coffee. The free rental bike is a standout feature.
Having stayed here thrice, I'll return if I visit Osaka again. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers.
