Comfort Hotel Shin-Osaka

The hotel is super close to Shin-Osaka Station, which was perfect for us since we had to catch the Shinkansen early the next morning. It's also only 2 or 3 stops from Umeda (if I remember correctly?), making it incredibly convenient for getting around.

This hotel is a perfect stopover for Hiroshima, with an incredibly convenient location. The service was excellent and it offered great value for money. I'd definitely choose this place again if I have the chance. The breakfast was good, though it did get quite busy.

This hotel is about a 6-minute walk from JR Shin-Osaka Station. While there isn't a convenience store right downstairs, the station itself has a variety of shops, which is very handy. It's perfectly located for day trips from Osaka to nearby areas, especially Kyoto, which is only 24 minutes away – just hop on any train to Osaka Station and transfer to the Shinkansen. The hotel is relatively new, and even the 15 sqm rooms have enough space to open luggage. The free breakfast was excellent, and the variety changed daily, which was a pleasant surprise. One thing to note is that the in-room Wi-Fi was quite slow.

The guest rooms are quite spacious, well-equipped, and clean and comfortable. **A quick tip for getting there:** Make sure you exit JR Shin-Osaka Station from the main exit (Exit 10) at ground level. Turn left, cross the traffic light, walk about 10 meters, then cross the zebra crossing under the bridge. Continue straight along the roadside, go through a small tunnel, and you'll arrive right away. If you get the wrong exit, you might have to take a detour. I've stayed at a few hotels near Shin-Osaka, and this one definitely offers the best value for money.
